Gastanker's 1000w Veggie Tent

That could be the prob, your temps are too low.

Temps generally run ~80 and they still droop...these are just fucked up plants. They were screwed up when I recieved them as clones many months ago and then were rejected from the grow they were meant for. Unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if they did nothing when I flip to 12/12. But hey, they were a moving consolation prize so they work.

Turns out I'm growing Serious Seeds White russian which is a white widow x ak47. Guess it won the 1996 cannabis cup and all that jazz.

Lucky you, I'd love to grow some of that out. I'm gonna get some of them beans 1 day but I got so many seeds right now that I don't need to buy any for quite sometime

From what I hear its pretty amazing stuff so I'm stoked as well. I think I might cross this Goo strain with the White Russian. Both are super indica and amazing growers with similar branch structure and leaf shape. The Goo has slightly larger leaves but other than that look almost identical. I have a feeling an F1 of the two could be pretty amazing.

Found a picture of my two Mr Nice clones several weeks after they were thrown out of their original grow. Picture is dated 12.10.09. Originlly recieved these clones 9.20.09. Just to give a picture of these poor plants life.

Picture update. Plants are really Taking off and the big ones are looking better and better everyday. Have exploded in growth after having the roots trimmed and new soil added.

My veggies are looking silly in there now. My zuchini is starting to flower... I might just have to flower it out in the tent in that tiny cup just to see that happens. Would be pretty funny to get a couple zuchini out of a 12 oz styro cup. My radishes are going to finish out before they go outside as well. Maybe ill have a meal from this tent instead of putting it outside. Alittle chard, some greens, green onions, zuchini and radish. Might not be too bad.

Today I will start 12/12. I started at 18/6 and a week ago switched to 16/8.

So far only one of my plants from seed has shown sex. A WhiteRussian is definately a female. The rest look very close to showing.

I have removed all of my veggies from ym veggie tent and relocated them to my window.

Found a tower fan at an estate sale for $8. Should do a better job than my one small clip on fan. Also made a veg box for my Mr Nice Clone as well as another Goo seedling and Something Special seedling. Something Special came from Prairie Pride. If anyone has any info on this seed breeder let me know.

God damn bugs are back. I think they hitchhiked on my tomatoes that I had to bring inside from outdoors (yeah I know, a pretty stupid move). Sprayed with Captain Jacks yesterday and the day before and see no change so I am bombing once again today and hopefully will be able to survive bug free after that for at least the rest or most of flowering.

Arg. 3 bug bombs and multiple spinosad sprayings (organic bacteria) and the spider mites are still all over. Picked up 1500 lady bugs today and released half. I have a feeling the past sprays might kill them off before they get to the mites. Blah.

On a better note I ordered a 7x15' greenhouse for my yard. Should be getting here tomorrow which will be alot of fun. Pictures once I get it up.

Lady bugs died almost immediately. Poisonous plants and resistant mites :( Put all the plants in the shower and scrubbed the leaves with soapy water while emptying and cleaning the tent with bleach. Ill wait a few days and release some more lady bugs to see if they survive. Hopefully the washing will cut down mite numbers as well. Pretty positive it wont get rid of them though.

so to wire up your vanity light fixture things, did you use a lamp wiring kit of some sort? how did you do that?

The vanity light fixture came with two short leads. I bought a $0.59 extension cord and cut the end off, stripped the wires, twisted them to the fixture's wires, and then put wire nuts on - electrical tape would work just as well.

Not sure why I never finished this thread. Not sure on yield but here is a pic late into flower.

what was your final solution for the mites? lol that's what hitler would've called it.

Really was no solution for em. I finished the grow with mites on board - constant hand washing of leaves to keep the numbers down till they finished. At the end I took a break from growing and bleached the fuck out of the tent. They still returned the next grow so I bought some Azamax and it worked beautifully.
