A fertilizer designed specifically for cannabis.
Look at the NPK on all the special tomato or flower bloomers. They are all over the place and they all claim to boost your yield with dense flowers. You don't have to look far. Check out Amazon. 6-4-3 or 0-53-0 and everything in between,
Fact - Most plants need 3-1-2. and that's about it. It can come from any source. The nitrogen molecule is identical whether it comes from a can or octopus' dung from challenger deep.

It may just be my genetics but spreading hair trimmings and pissing around your outdoor grow to keep the critters away has never worked, if anything I believe it makes them more curious.

All of that. (Unscientifically and for fun) I ran an experiment with bottled waters, well water and mineral water for germinating seeds and was surpised by a few things. Life Water PH 9.5+ did as well as Evian PH 7.2. They both claim to be PH balanced. (For humans). Distilled water had slow results but not bad. Pelligrino sparkling mineral water can be used to germinate seeds. Pretty weird. My well water is fine and was better than Life Water or Evian.GOPR0104.JPGGOPR0125.JPG

What does not work is my Spider Farmer light, sf 6500. Did not come on this morning so I plugged it directly into the outlet bypassing the timer and POOF in a puff of smoke. Pain in the arrse. If I didn't have a 5x5 to cram all the plants in for a few days my grow is done. Mars hydro light should arrive Wednesday. Everything was going almost perfect and then whammo. "When life seems like easy street there is danger at your door."
That's life. :oo_O:-| I get to waste more money on a light (:

Believe me when I tell you this and do something today. The smoke alarms went off all over the house. I was in the grow room when the fire happened, so I was able to unplug the light. No harm, no foul, shit happens. If the light came on at 4 am like it was supposed to, and I didn't have a smoke alarm, I could be dead. I could be in jail and face fines. I would owe the landlord a new house.
If you don't have them, Get smoke alarm(s) and fire extinguisher(s) and put them in your grow room.
Do you really want to call 911?:fire::fire::fire:o_O

Maybe consider buying something other than a budget board.. If a fire wont convince you, i doubt anything will.

So it was a fluff of smoke initially, then a fire big enough to set all smoke detectors in the house off?

Any pics?

Just a crackle crackle pop pop smoke. A smell of burning wires and a bit of smoke was all it took. The unit looks undamaged, but smells burnt.
No flames. All those fans and tents are a recipe for disaster. I have the type of smoke detectors that speaks and flashes all over the house no matter where the smoke/fire is. One of my fire extinguishers is not in the green so I need to replace it.
My house burned down 25 years ago. Lost it all. Flames move quickly.
