Garden Lime

I plan on picking up some garden lime for my plants to help control the pH. What's a good brand, and how much of it would you typically use for 5 gal buckets?

If you can find worm casting they are much better at adjusting soil Ph and they add all kinds of great things your plants will love. Skip the lime. most garden limes have 10x the Mag your plants could ever use.

I have 2 worm bins and add lime to the bedding. I use peat and it's too acidic by itself and the worms eat it too. Yummo!

EWC are great, but if you are running any sort of peat based mix/bagged soil, you are still going to need to add lime.
