garbage bag?

Hey guys just wandering,can you put a black garbage bag over your girls when there in 12/12?

? as in...instead of turning the lights off, you just put a bag over? Herm..it seems like light would still get through...I've heard of people that grow outside they cover it a couple weeks b4 harvest..

If you can set the lights to 12 hours on and 12 hours off than why do you need to cover the plants?

because i use the room that i grow them in,i have to put them somewhere else afterwards,and it cant be dark in there when i need it to be

You should plan things out before just winging it dude. Plants need 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness every night in flower. Think ahead man this is going to be such a pain in the ass putting the plants in plastic bags every single night. No matter how hard you try i can almost guarantee you will get hermies.

The bags will make for a high humidity environment, which is pretty much the opposite of what you want during flowering.

If you had to, you'd be better off putting them in a box or something.

1... u shouldn't need a bag
2... u put bag over it and u'll create moisture and may cause mold and such
3... as buddy said plan ahead... yes weed is a weed but it needs to
be taken care of when not out in nature and u must have knowledge of wut u are doin
if not it will be a huge waste of ur tyme.

you need to find another room to put your plant in...putting a bag over it in later flower is asking for mold...bad idea

Man u sound like you aint been growing long if you havent take your time you will kill some plants soon enough you dont have to suffocate any right away. I feel you wanting to create the dark 12 hours but think porose like paper shopping bag or blanket think breath not suffocate how long you growing now me im growing since this January their is a lot of shit for us to learn but its our job
