Garage grow room

I have a 8Lx6Wx8H Grow room that I am in the middle of constructing. I usually grow inside and this is my first time in the garage and had a couple questions. All insulated basically another room inside the garage.

First is about venting my light. 1000W air cooled. When I run my ducting should I pull air from outside the room or inside. (I am also going to be using c02) so should it go.

EX: 1, from outside through the hood and then outside again. or EX: 2, inside through the hood then outside? I ask because when it gets hot inside the garage will that be a problem with the cooling of the light EX: making it hotter or not cooling at all.

Ex:1

Ex:2

If you're running co2 you'll want to pull air from another room, otherwise you'll be exhausting and wasting all the co2 you pump in and you'll be pumping out a lot of smell (unless carbon filtered).

Ex. 1 is the one you want

would there be any problem with the hood heating up and causing excess heat? It is in a garage and can get hot out there on hot days. also what about the air exchange?

How hot does the garage get at the max ?
Also the weather is about to cool down at this time of the year and that might buy you some time to figure things out.
A small AC unit could be a good investment and would draw air in as well....I could be wrong so try and get more advice :)

during the summer it probably gets around 90 in the garage. the weather cooling down will give me a temporary fix but come next summer I will run into this problem again. I am getting a small AC unit for the room when I am closer to being finished with the room.

The only reason I am worried about the room over heating even with the AC unit in the room is when the garage heats up and is sucking hot air into the hood in the tent.

The room is my veg/flower in one. Dont have separate rooms because dont have the money or the room for separate veg and flower room. So even during summer the light will be on 24 hours. so will there be problems?

If was me i would try/use the cold incoming air from the AC as my intake, rig it up in such way that some cold AC air comes right through your ducting and the rest into the room itself. Basically you would build a cover with 2 openings- 1 you would attach your ducting to and the other would let the cooled air to the room, a piece of plywood some collars and a couple of screws would do the trick,,,,after all its the grow space you are worried about the most, the garage wont get as cool as it could but o well c'est la vie :)
