G13 Midnight Kush Fem, 600w mh/hps, soil, tent grow

This is my G13 Midnight Kush at about week 5 of flowering.

Here are a few details about my setup and brief rundown on the grow so far.

G13 Midkight Kush Fem. germinated 5 out of 5 in 24hours using the papertowel method and warming mat.

I also geminated 5 of 5 Nirvana white widow for a total of 10 plants, but the 4 best WW went to a friend and I kept the runt for a total of 6. I really only like to do 4 in my sized tent but I thought I would try 6 this time and just flip them a bit earlier than I normaly would.


I am running a 600w digilux MH for Veg and a 600 Digilux HPS for flowering digital ballast.

Growlabs GL120 tent (48"x48"x80") 6" 430cfm fan with air cooled hood and carbon filter.

I have been useing the 420 grow system 5 gallon pots (bottom watering pots) I really like these pots

Fox farms Ocean forest, perlite, wormcasting and a few other add in's for my soil mix.

R/O water Ph@ 6.0-6.5 Fox farms Grow big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Cal-mag plus, Carbs, Bat Gauno.

I am not going to get into detail about my watering for feeding, I water when they need it (about 2 times a week) and I feed them based on what I see the plant needs.

Anyway, this was my first grow in a long time that I did not use all Nirvana seeds, and so far I'm no that impressed with G13 but then again Im not done, so well see. I will say I love Nirvana Seeds, I have had some killer grows, never a herm, and a near 100% grem rate.


Back to the grow, popped the beans, got them into thier new homes, vegged 18/6 w/600 MH for about 4/5 weeks. Topped the plants for 4/6 colas each as soon as they had grown to about 6" tall (4-5 nodes) I like to veg untill all are showing sex, but since I was going to have 2 more plants than normal I went ahead and flipped them about a week or two early....I did have 2 of the G13 showing sex at the time of flip.

During Veg the plants really didnt get any food for the first 2-3 weeks (only cal-mag in water) then I greened them up a week or so before the flip, they seemed to take well to high dose of Grow Big and Big Bloom.
Flipped to 12/12 and like always they do nothing for about a week, then the stretch come and these got lankier than I would have liked....maybe because they each had less more, maybe the strian...Idk, I one white widdow caught up in height, but will be a lower yeilder than the others.....but still looks real nice.....its really dark green. I always continue with my veg nutes untill they have finished stretching, then I back off the N and get up the P.....all the while trying my best to just read the plant, this isnt my first rodeo and I dont get to hung up and measuring things out or keeping detailed records anymore, sorry.


So here I am on about week 5 of flowering, Im guessing I have atleast 3-4 more weeks to go...well see.

Looks like the midnight kush has better Trichome coverage already!
I've had much better plants from G13labs than Nirvana.
+ I've bought more Nirvana beans than G13labs.

Looking good! another 4-5 wks. and things will be swollen + sticky

Getting any smells yet? My Pineapple Express smells like a Tropical Fruit and stinky too!

not to smelly, smells sweet and piney to me......but then again I dont have the best sniffer, but after some gardening my wife says I stink

asa far as the trichs its hard to say, my WW was pretty small and quite the runt....as compaired to the others, Ill post some better pics in the upcomming weeks.

Here they are at about week 7-8 and they are getting close.......the smell as really turned on the last week and they are starting to swell. Im thinking they will be comming down in the next week
