well, the ruderalis is used in many of the autoflower strains. it's something most people would never want in their weed. it's exactly that - a weed. Adding ruderalis to the genetics makes it autoflower, but it also diminishes or 'corrupts' the potency. it's kinda like adding ketchup to a nice filet mignon, ya dig?

that being said, if the autoflower component is important, then it may be a sacrifice that you're willing to make. less potency, but speed and stealth. I don't know about this specific strain, but I started growing with autoflowers and will never go back.

thanks for the response, don't most of the lowryder and lowlife seeds contain less ruderalis than 50% due to cross breeding, i guess what i'm really asking is that is this just the first generation of g13s autoflower and that is why its going for less?
also do the other ruderalis x nl strains on the market contain less ruderalis? or is the a trade secret of the bank not to release the exact ratio?

ps, jrh, is the loss in potency that drastic? or is it still more potent than common midgrades on the streets?

my LR 2 was always better than your middys from the street - the smoke was great!

and yes, the more further removed the ruderalis is, the better. for example, the original LR was less potent and had a bad rep because it was 50% ruderalis. in the second generation, then crossed the original with Santa Maria, which is a great strain. it increased the potency (THC), stabilized the breed and has absolutely positive effects. the more the ruderalis is diluted, the better. so, we should expect some good things to come from this crossing. the more stable and predictable we can make them, the better. so overall, the ruderalis brings a lot to the table and if it can be more controlled and manipulated, then good things will happen.

I agree with jrh, though. Although i haven't grown these strains i do plan to. I've done a lot of research on them and jrh is correct.

Ive used and used that strain more and more for the date of maturity and easy growth. Never had a propurly cured batch come out with everyone saying bad things... All my people put it up there with A plus 20 gram shit anyday... I have three on and growing now with a strawberry haze.... well see haha
