G13 Haze highs and lows

6 weeks veg and 8 weeks of flower, dried and cured, first time I grew this strain, unsure if it was hyped or possibly under-rated. Smoked some this afternoon, took about a joints worth. At first I could feel the heady effects right away (this was a head high not a body high), I harvested a bit early hoping for more THC.

After 4 hours the high was still with me. The mind was in a state of euphoric bliss which lasted about an hour or so, then a really great calming moment. A very pleasant feeling from most other highs, except the nasty after taste (flushed and grew with organic nutes). The aroma is slightly woody with undertones of sweet and bitter fruit skins.

Smiling at everything for awhile. But now the lows. Very sleep inducing, hard to keep my eyes open, and after the great highs filled with grand illusions (not all illusions were grand, I was expecting a Buddah thing, but all I got was a slightly unsure enlightened feeling).

It's now 8 hours since I fired up. Been eating all day, crunching and munching, cereal and cookies, chips (I need to have a crunch factor). Yet I am ready to zonk out.

Out of a 10 for the high - a 6

Not going to grow this strain again. But that's just me.

i couldn't believe your claims of no couchlock until you got to the lows. even a creeper KO = couchlock to me and i don't like couchlock one bit.

LSD & mataro blue have a similar high first then KO couchlock, though maybe not as potent. they're both a little grapey too. the biggest differences are LSD is shorter & sexier and has a sickeningly sweet cat piss on floral haze odor that fades and where LSD gives you a slight lead eye over the high before creeping up on you , mataro's early lock is more in the body.

man do i hope that my G13 haze x buddha's sisters are less stoney, but now i'm expecting i won't like it much at all.

thanks for the smoke report. it's so much fun getting the REAL lowdown on all those question mark strains here.

looks like i've earned my first troll stalker! i don't know what they just said here, but after 3 or 4 troll bitch replies in a row in other threads, i can bet a nickel it's more pissant pussy trash talk from yet another thin skinned cash cropping schwag purveyor out to attack ANYONE that despises couchlock.

g13 haze is not finished in 8 weeks....if you got that high at week 8....imagine another 2-3 weeks on that....just some info...g13 haze tends to be an 11 week strain

Yeah I wouldnt mind seeing a pic,I have a SourCream mother,its SourDiesel-x-G13Haze by DNA.Its pretty kick ass,not my number1 strain but it tastes fuckin great,actually tastes REAL Creamey and smooth like the name would em-ply lol. Closest I can describe it to is those cookies&cream Hersheys bars.lol yeah thats what it reminds me of. But I been real curios to see some more pics of the strait G13, You see lots of sourD pics. Sounds dank though man! keep us posted.

Actually, thats not true at all. Indica phenotypes go from 8-10 weeks. Alot of people think of barneys G13 Haze and its very sativa/haze dominant. I havent grown it but I have tried it. I grew seedsmans G13 haze and its a indica phenotype. strong mellow high with no paranoia. And Just recently like a couple years now Mr. Nice came out with there G13 haze and I really want to try that one since they are the real deal since they are the last known to have the g13 before it died. If you go another 2-3 weeks with indica pheno and you'll have a very noticeable amount of "bananas" popping up. Last but not least its got major hybrid vigour. I would show you pics but a few years back RIU had a "facelift", they lost alot of peoples grow pics including some of mine back in '08. If you see seedsmans pic of there g13 haze, it looks exactly like that. its very stable and easy to grow.

G13 Haze can be strong on the onset. It gives me a sudden energy burst. Then I feel very happy and giggly. After that I start to get drowsy, but that is towards the end of the buzz.
If you ask me G13's a versatile high in that regard.
One thing I'd say is that it's hybrid that is more sativa dominant, and the indica properties show themselves towards the end.

Nice report write-up, sparked lots of discussion!

Thanks guys, Yeah I have checked it out on seedbanks before and read 'some' things. Just havent got into it to deep.Hard to do when im constantly reading on my other mothers. But yeah the SourCream is pretty dank, I mainly kept it around for the flavor but it has a nice kinda sativa leaning buzz at first then it rolls into a more body indica stone. I got the seed as a freebie from attitude and always wanted to run a diesel so I figured close enough lol. I liked the fact the name fits the strain as it actually tastes creamey. Alot of strains are just slapped with a name and sent out. But stay stoned everyone! good info
