G13 Auto Blueberry, G13 Auto Pineapple Express & Dinafem Fruit Auto

I swapped out the Res on all 3 plants last night and added some additional cal/mag supplement. Blueberry is on the brink of outgrowing my space and stands 56" tall. Fruit is 54" and PE is holding at 52". Hopefully will have some pics tonight...

i here ya, my PE is also getting huge 4 of them stand at around 32" tall while 1 of the 5 i have is a diffrent pheno and it short and stocky only around 18-19" tall, all planted at the same time

and my 1 60 day wonder, is right at the same place all the PE are 32" tall and starting to flower up nicely

I am going to have to be more selective of the beans I purchase in the future. It is clear to me that after 2 grows in my current set-up, that sativa dominant strains will grow taller than the breeder estimates in DWC using HPS lighting and cause the issue of my main cola getting to close to the light. The indica dominant strains I have done under this set-up have come out very nicely staying at a manageable size for my closet. Also future grows of sativa dominant strains will have to be photo period plants as opposed to autos so that I can manipulate their sizes by setting them into flower early and/or supercropping.

I am beginning to worry that I am going to run out of time. I have to go on a trip Dec. 9 for a week and on the return will be bringing house guests that will be problematic for grow hobby pursuits. My thinking in doing autos was that I could get them done in about 60-65 days, which matched my previous experience. Plus I need time to dry fully so that I can feel comfortable leaving them in jars for a week.

More and more it looks like PE is going to be the only one that is really ready and Blueberry might be close, but Fruit may be a bust for me...only because I may have to take her down way too soon.

Crossing my fingers that the next 10 days show some amazing development, but knowing that is most likely not going to be the case.

I will be able to start a new batch on Dec. 28, the day my guests leave. Planning on doing my remaining Blueberry seeds with intentions to start some photos about 50 days into that (probably El Alquimista and Bubba 76).

I hope those harvest times work out for you man I know the feeling of having to rush because of visitors.

sorry about the time crunch but im still following ya, my PE stoped at about 40 inchs and i still have the 1 short one that is only 25 inchs, this friday will be day 42 for me, and they starting to look good

Yea dude, it sucks, but it is what it is. PE is going to give me some good blaze for a while and I won't be able to go at it often while the houseguests are here. I am encouraged by Blueberry's progress the last 3 days. The bud sites are getting heavy on the crystals. It's really the trip that is throwing off my plans. If I had guests just coming Dec 16, I would be in good shape I think.

I took PE down last night at Day 60 from Seed. I probably could have waited another week, but the Trichs were 70% cloudy and the buds swelled up nicely. She ended up at 52" tall, and very top heavy. I would have had to tie her up were it not for the tight space in the closet.

Here are some pics in addition to the one above I posted:

Yield on Pineapple Express, trimmed and dried was 28.5 g.

Not bad. I snapped a few branches with buds during the process and probably harvested about 3-7 days early so I am pleased with the yield. Not bad for 60 days.

Blueberry and Fruit are both showing encouraging signs, especially Blueberry. I expect the yield on each will be higher than the P.E. yield.

Hey John, just visiting back...nice to see your results....did you stick with the 250W through the entire grow? I know what you mean about height of plants...happens to me a lot. I have a a G13 Auto Blueberry freebie but wonder if I can pull it off with that height...my auto projects are stuck in a closet w/shelving away from the photo-period girls in a tent.

I can't get my autos anywhere near 54" tall. 12" is about as tall as any of my autos have gotten. I'm still getting at least an oz off of each. Looks great though. Well done!

Hey Jela10. Yep, 250 w the entire grow. I had to harvest Fruit and Blueberry early, so neither of them are up to the quality I shoot for, but I knew going into it that I had a limited time window to get them done. I probably could have controlled the height of the Blueberry with some LST while it was vegging. I almost feel like I could have supercropped it even though they say you cannot with autos.

I still have a couple left, but I am going to do some indica dominant photos now and leave the autos alone for a while.

john, I have a G13 Auto Blueberry that just popped...going to test out a new hempy idea where I use little 3/8" rock-wool cubes as the medium in a 2g bucket...I'm prepared for the worst height-wise.....seems like blueberry is a tall strain.

You will love the taste and smell of it. I had to harvest early and yet I still get a nice flavor from the Blueberry. Yes, it can get tall, but if you LST that will help. I didn't use any training techniques, I just let her go and did minor defoliating. The 2 gallon bucket I think will help you regulate height as well.

I just started Reserva Privada OG Kush, Samsara El Alquimista and Emerald Seeds Bubba 76. 2 of which are indica dominant strains so it will be interesting. I don't have any early harvest issues this go around. I will probably start a journal in week or 2. All 3 just got their first real node and 2nd set of true leaves.
