I recommend using the GH Kool Bloom ripening powder after week 5 in bloom. Hardens up the buds just be careful you can burn the plants easy with it . Start 1/2 strength or so.
I actually go to that formula at the beginning of week 5. Drop the Grow and go straight to Micro Bloom then Max out on my KoolBloom
That is why I flush every week with H2o2 and Clearex. kind of a pain with a 115 gallon rez from reverse osmosis but well worth it.
I think I misunderstood your only running 800-900 PPM During flowering all the way through or just to start off? I am running 1800-1900 PPM with no burn in week 4. Probably be there for the rest of the 4 weeks I got left
i just up the Bloom and cut the Micro down to ripen..plus i use OVERDRIVE from A.N for ripening..when i run out of Overdrive i'll give Kool Bloom a shot..i always like switching it up and trying new shit..thanks for the info
I would stick with KoolBloom and just use Liquid Kool and Powder Kool works better for me then overdrive. Also try a foliar feed of what you use but add a little purple max and gravity in it....... That will make a world of difference specially if you dont use any foliar now.
I started using liquid koolbloom in week 3 and added powder koolbloom with liquid koolbloom in week 4. I drop the grow in week 5 and max my Koolblooms then.. and from experience no powder Koolbloom and Liquid Koolbloom are not the same and do not do the same in case you were wondering.
Honestly it does make a difference. last batch I used overdrive and would not switch for anything!!!!!! But.......... Then one batch I tried it on 5 plants that were the same strain size etc side by side and the KoolBloom produced over 4-5 grams more per plant. I think total I got almost an ounce more off using both KoolBloom liquid and powder KoolBloom and dropping the overdrive. Has been over a year now and never looked back to overdrive and still have some of it left. Actually I have actually almost a Gallon or more of overdrive because it just took one time to change my mind and ever since then I have been trying a few new things nothing to irrational but still have increased my yield from 1.25-1.75 Oz per plant to almost 2.1-2.5 oz per plant. Not just from the KoolBloom alone I added a couple different things that really helped for my foliar feed.
