Sour AK was by far the best smoke ive had in a long time
Its still growing, i only had a wet nibble, even a tiny amount that weighed in wet at .08g and the shit was good, i cant wait for it to grow to maturity.
the piece i had was a small slice from a very low branch that couldnt be reached by the HPS and was stagnant.

lol i did that with the sourcream i just grew, i started taken half a gram to sample. now i am down from 2 zips to one and the buds just went into jars...lolSour AK was by far the best smoke ive had in a long time

i don't have pics but i can give a little info on the pheno i have.
It's definitely nute sensitive... I almost killed it after transplanting into soil that was way too hot way too early. It bounced back like a champ. It's one of the oldest strains in my cabinet yet it's VERY small right now ( growth was probably stunted after the transplant) maybe only 12 inches at 1 and a half moth veg... It's got very lanky branches, thin leaves, it smells like AK for sure.
The only training i've done so far is super cropping it and it took to it well, however, I think you'd bet better results from topping or LST.
I'm still curious to see how this flowers!!!
Pics will be posted in this thread at some point so we can all see how the Sour AK performs. I won't start flowering for another few weeks...... anyone else with info ...PLEASE share.

I never had any nute issues with mine ( dwc/lucas formula) except for her growing so tall on me. Im currently around 50 days on mine and seeing cloudy trichs, i think she'll be comin down around 60 days maybe sooner.
I did cut a lower branch the other night and it was everything i hoped for
Cant wait to try it with a proper cure.

Beautiful brotha ....the growth structure looks ALOT like mine. Only problem is mine seems stunted. It's only about 10 inches tall ....... was it a big stretcher?? Please feel free to share more info on it. How long did you veg/flower for?? looks like a massive plant man. Love to hear more about it. I may either veg mine out a bit more or start flowering in a day or two.

I would say she easily doubles in size. Mine ended up being about 6 1/2 ft tall.
She was vegged for roughly a month 1/2 under a T5. That wasnt the plan. I veg with a 600mh. I got a little tied up with my Pineapple Express grow. She stayed healthy even in the bad times. When others didnt.
I took mine to 55 days and cut half down. Cloudy trichromes w/ few amber. The rest is coming down 5-7 days after. The first batch is still drying now.
I honestly thought about re-vegging her, since i didnt take any clones. I think ill just order a pack later on though. Amazing smell ! strong citrus/burnt rubber mixed with armpits. lol... in a good way. Very strong smell.
Ill try to get a smoke report asap.
and did i hear Pre 98 ?

The Sour AK is one of my new favorites.
Currently have 1 Sour AK that I'm about to cut down soon, growing in a guerrilla plot.
Triches are getting very amber, and it's been about 57 days so far since flowering was initiated.
The smell though...oh the smell is true Sour Diesel. It's fantastic, and is currently my favorite next to my Jack The Rippers...which are pure lemon heaven.
One thing about Sour AK though. As much as I'd like to believe that its heritage is Sour Diesel X AK-47, I have a sinking suspicion that the 'AK' might actually be Afghan Kush instead.
If you look at the genetic makeup of Sour AK, at least according to Attitude's website (which is the only real source of info on this strain), it says it's an even Indica/Sativa mix.
If Sour AK was Sour Diesel X AK-47, wouldn't it be an almost pure Sativa, as both Sour Diesel and AK-47 are mostly Sativa?
The Indica/Sativa designation (according to Attitude) would make sense if the 'AK' was an Afghan Kush, as Afghan Kush is a pure Indica.
Maybe it's just a misprint on Attitude's part...wouldn't be the first time for them.
Just wish there was more VERIFIED heritage background on this strain. Whatever it is, it's fantastic, especially if you've ever had pure Sour Diesel before.
Shorter flowering time than original Sour Diesel, but with all the taste and a super dreamy, smooth high and comedown.
I'll be posting updates on the Sour AK soon, which can be found by clicking my sig (last entry).

You could be right but i think i'll have to disagree ....
I never got to finish growing my plants ... the man swooped in and grabbed em. But although my plant stayed EXTREMELY short in height, everthing else about it was sativa, from the the leaves to it's think lanky branching, the smell even had more of the " meat and potatoes" smell AK is known for ... just saying whatever pheno i got was surely a hybrid, but i'm almost certain it had AK 47 heritage.
