Fungus on plant nearing harvest....do I harvest early?? PICS!

Hello friends!

This is one of my plants in my garden, she is a Purple AK 47. Unfortunately where I live here in coastal Cali, we have had our fair share of molds and funguses going around. One week ago I had to remove a branch due to a mold on her (of course I am drying what was good on it!).

Unfortunately, for several days I noticed a now type of fungus mainly on the buds and branches towards the bottom of the plant. However, I am really afraid of it moving up. She is very close to being harvested. I could not get any good pics of the trichomes, but on many of the buds the trichomes are turning that beautiful amber instead of the frosty white!

What I am wondering, and based on your knowledge/experience and visuals by my pics, should I go ahead and harvest her? Just go for whats good on her, and she has some NICE buds! Or should I continue to remove the moldy parts and let whats good grow a little more... The FIRST few pics are of the mold, sorry they are not the best, the rest are just of her so you can get an idea where she is at. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

I would suggest to put some disposable gloves on and use your hands to remove as much mold as you can. Then throw away your gloves and remember to wash your tools that you used with these plants. The idea behind washing everything is to prevent the mold from spreading. Make sure to use fresh dirt and clean supplies when you start up again.

As far as your harvest goes, this is a tough call. I'd say that if you're within two weeks of harvest time, then go ahead and harvest IF the mold continues to spread.

Hope this helps.

Definitely been washing the tools and stuff... its a kind of a mold or fungus I have never seen before. The bud that have "browned" shoot out almost a powder like substance when touched...I assumed the fungus/mold's method of spreading perhaps?

I think I will monitor the next few days...if its spreading day by day still, then perhaps its whack time this weekend?
