Fungus gnats?

Buddy gave me some clones. He later for gnats. Is that what this is? It is only on the lower leaves. Seems to have eggs. Medium is perlite. I also use peroxide at waterings. I just sprayed the area and tent with peroxide ...also the plants. This is in my quarantine tent but I had a decent auto in their

i have never had a bug issue in over 20 years. so, i have no idea how to deal with it or what it is. is it just a caterpillar or something?
 
it doesn't seem to be on any other plants. there are some sort of eggs and some damage to the leaves, like little holes. the eggs are brown. it sort of looks like thrips larvae, but i don't think it's thrips. the confusing thing is run a sterile feed with peroxid and I don't use compost or any soil. maybe it's a random thing, but it would be nice to prevent this in the future. i think it is harming the plant some.

They can destroy your crop. I would eliminate that specific plant as soon as possible. Somewhere along the line there was a moth problem. They typically come out at night to lay eggs. The more of those eggs hatch the bigger the problem is going to be. Like I said they burrow into buds and their droppings will definitely cause bud rot. It could turn into a real mess.

The idea that bugs only come in compost and soil is not really correct.

That giant worm is concerning. As well as everything I see on this plant. Good luck. I’d burn it down and start over personally

Just pick the worms off. Most of the stuff you are seeing on the leaves is worm poop
 
Heres how I know. Last fall my buddy had some really nice large plants going outdoors. Deep into flower we noticed a bunch of eggs on the leaves exactly like yours. After looking closely we noticed an incredible amount of bud rot. So i busted open a bud and viola there were a bunch of worms deep inside the buds eating and shitting. We had to ditch almost the entire grow. We salveged a few buds but also had some worms crawling around the bottom of his drying tent as the buds started drying. Get that plant out of there ASAP and pick out any remaining worms you see.
 
Its in a quarantine tent in keep I keep outside the house. I am worried about bringing anything inside ATM. I removed the caterpillar. I guess if it gets worse I will take it down it has about 5 weeks left or so. I can lose anything else in the tent no prob. My main setup is separate

Is it possible the moths are getting into your outside tent?

i haven't noticed anything. i don't go outside that often. the in/out between the two if fairly limited. i will of course add moe protocol to keep them segregated. i also exterminate around the house...actually i did in the garage where the caterpillar/moth was before putting anything there in December. main setup is in veg...it would be easy to notice i guess. i still have a land race Guatemala in flower i will take down tomorrow.

In addition to the problems listed above by other members, I see cobwebs. I honestly don't know if this is also related to the worms but there could be another problem as wellImmagine 2023-02-11 192719.png

i think that is actual spider. i saw it too. weird, i used to always grow in the same location for year. no problems. i just started using that space again and bam. i sprayed bug spray before starting up. maybe i need to go harder next time.
 
Trash em! Not only would I not smoke that but wouldn't touch either. U got alot going on. The time and effort it will take to rectify problem isn't worth it imo. U will have to wash your buds before drying. This is one of the reasons I started growing myself and don't eat at everybody's house. Some folks will still sell that crap.
 
i know this is an old thread but i came across it when looking for gnat-related posts. this worm looks like a catalpa worm or a cut worm. we have catalpa trees all around our house and i see those worms typically in late spring. the cut worms are a huge pest in my garden. i shutter to think of the damage that they can do to a cannabis plant because all worms do is eat and shit.
