Well, I couldn't help it and I guess I am just going to have two tourbooks. I went ahead and ordered a second full set.

I didn't like how I accidentally killed off the Maruf Black I popped. The other two red and green are fine.

The leaf structure on these are just incredible examples of Afghanica. They stand out from all my other plants, even the indicas and hybrids.

Really!? Wow, did you pop the Arghandab as well? Still vegging or? Think I did read if my memory serves me right, that you are in a similar climate zone as their native one. Getting curious on how they would do indoors.

Yeah, I am in northern New Mexico, dry high desert sub-alpine, altitude 8000+ ft.

I'll try and get some pictures once I get the two I have cracked in the ground. The Arghandab Black is also on my short list to try.

The Maruf's are straight up and down, hardly any side branching. I am not even sure I'll be able to get a cutting, honestly. That is the main reason I just spent so darned much on more seeds... I am about to get them out of the 5.5" pots and into the ground and then we'll know for sure. Thankfully our season is starting on time this year.

So got another pack of ILE Cambodian after the first failed to germinate and also some ILE Burma seeds. Both failed to germ in paper towels and I have them in dirt in the faint hope they germ after being in the dirt now over 2 weeks.

The fan leaves off the Manipur I have going are some of the best smoke I have really. I love my Chellakutti but this Manipur is so very intense and sativa, maybe thcv? It is just all up in effect. No crash either. I have 3 Manipur which are insanely slow to flower and have seeds from my pollination. I will harvest a few joints worth at best from them. I have now 48 seeds from fresh RSC Manipur stock and will receive two more packs of ILE Manipur in a day or two. I am stocking up on Manipur in case you could not figure that out.

Maruf, Kandahar -- Red Selection. I think it's a male though, sadly.

Look at the leaf pattern.

Took the pic after I stole the leaves. ;-)

Sun splotching due to intense UV this week. I'm at 8000+ft 36 degrees north.
What are the smells developed in veg for the maruf? I'm really looking forward to getting the red selection for future breeding, if you decide to keep any pollen I'd be happy to trade.

I pulled it but it was stanky stem rub for sure, with quite thick stalks and 9 leaf fingerlings.

I've got 19 more beans of this variety so later this year I hope I'm 1) fortunate enough to pop a female, and 2) be in a place to collect/use pollen if it goes that direction again. These genetics are special, I just know it. :-)

A Balochistan 4- smells range on these- some are perfume and citrusy rubbing alcohol, some are a weird slightly sweet stink, some are pure rotted (but dried) wood. The buds are way more Afghani smelling and intense than the overall vegetation and stems. Buds aren't anything to look at, but for landrace I guess that's to be expected.

Okay, so I sampled a very small bit of one of my current Balochistan 4s. This was from a more sativa looking one, that was in a different area, and that has smells similar to a more savory version of Trainwreck. Resin wasn't visibly very impressive at all, but the high is more or less just what I was hoping for. It is strong enough, is an upper, and leaves you fairly impaired with enhanced colors and changes in the way you process the world around you. The "impending doom" is there, but more in the form of "butterflies in your stomach" (actually more in the diaphragm/solar plexus area). Think of being back in school, right before having your name called to do an oral presentation in front of the class. That nervous, weirdly uncomfortable feeling. That's there. Extracts would probably be absolutely wild!
