Full extract cannabis oil question

So I made some full extract cannabis oil with ever clear the other day and I have been having some problems. I used the magical butter machine on its 4 hour cycle set to 160 degrees F then strained it and boiled it off in a fryer as lightly as I could. The oil I got is not as clean as I would like as some contaminant got through the filter. It also burns my throat and is giving my some acid reflex kind of....... I am worried all the contaminant that cam through still has a lot of solvent left in it. I was thinking of re dissolving the oil back into everclear throwing it it the freezer for 24 hours and then re filtering out all the contaminant, waxes and fats through a coffe filter..... Any advice would be appreciated. Also, I was wondering if leftover everclear is dangerous in the oil that I am eating. Thanks

I can't help with your type of extract, I use BHO.
But if there is any everclear left in your oil and you are eating it and have troubles with acid reflux, then I would say yes there is a danger.
Get your acid reflux under control now. Don't ignore it and don't ingest any strong alcohol that eats up your esophagus.

Except for the Flammability, EverClear is NOT Dangerous to Eat! There should be NO problem RE-Filtering the Oil, but if is used for/in Edibles, I would not worry about RE-Filtering.

The danger is that he says it is aggravating his acid reflux. It shouldn't do that and people with acid reflux shouldn't ignore it.
Later in life reflux turns into Barrett's esophagus.

I don't have acid reflux It just feels like that. Like a slight burning of my throat and esophagus. I'm going to re dissolve the oil, filter, and then evaporate it off in a Pyrex dish. Hopefully this cleans it up. This oil has been working wonders with the couple days I have tried it so this would be great if it was more tolerable to eat

Also if I dewax it would that take it from an oily state to a shatter state?? I do not want it to form into shatter because this is for ingestion

To bypass the esophagus and throat stuff, you could use capsules or roll it in a peice of bread. I personally make a WICKED Green Dragon with about 40 grams of Dry Ice Hash into a 5th of 151% EverClear (highest alcohol content available in my state). I DO NOT Evaporate or Filter so the Empty Trichromes settle to the bottom between shots. 1 to 2 shots is McFreakingAwesome!

The more wax you remove, the Harder it should be. Perhaps try the Capsules or Bread first to see if it solves the issues.

thanks for the replies. I just redesolved it now without freezing and im going to run it through a coffee filter and then let it dissolve. I am probably going to try the capsules too. Thanks
