Fukn SHIT.. flushhhhh

I just started flushing yesturday. My trichomes on my plant are turning brown very fast.. is this bad.

This is probably the dumbest question but for some reason I just am not sure. Does it really matter if the trichomes are brown or like 75% so when flushing is done.
Do the trichomes turn brown anyways when you dry?

I'm staring at my auto I got growing and I know it wants to be harvested today.. but I can't for another 6 days and the trichomes are turn brown to fast. It's like one day it decided it was full blown ready with no warning.

It's really up to you man. What kind of high do you want? Energetic or uppy? Or Stoned & couchlocked?

Trichromes start to go amber when THC starts to break down, but it also increases the amount of the other cannaboids (the non-thc shit that gets you high). If it's 75%, be prepared to sit down, and stay there, for a long long time. Screw flushing, don't wait til tomorrow, if they are all that dark chop the bitch right now. You never really wanna go over 50% amber trichs. 6 days isn't gonna matter in a flush if it's in soil, I don't really think flushing is that necessary anyway, so I say axe the bitch!

I wouldn't worry about flushing either. Just harvest. Like cranker, I don't think extensive flushing does much

you should really only want to be flushing if your using chemicals that shouldnt be smoked, but if the trichromes are that brown id definitely chop it, dont want to wait too long. Timber!

hahaha.. I'v been using lots of nutrients "chemicals" so... I'v watered it twice now with final phase by A/N .. so i guess it's somewhat flushed.

I def don't want couch lock.. that shit's only good when your trying to go to sleep.

I think i'ma hack her down tomorrow night.. i'm soo pissed that it came out the cuts like that. grrrr

Do you think if I put her in the shade all day and night.. it will slow the ambering??

What do you think will happen if I wait another 4-5 days? will all of the trichomes turn 100%brown. how bad is that?

I'ma try to get atleast 2 more days into flushing.. I used alota nutrients .. and I don't want it to taste like shit.

I've tried flushing and not flushing. Have never noticed a difference. Other than lack of feeding them during that time which can hurt yield. It's an opinion thing though I guess. Some swear by flushing, some swear by not flushing. I after trying both ways, am going with it is not necessary.

As for the trichromes, the more they are amber when you harvest, the more body high you get as opposed to head high. I always harvest when I have some amber, but mostly cloudy, for the nice head high, with a small mix of body high.

You should chop now. a 4 day flush wont do much of anything for your grow this time. There is a lot more to flushing then just flooding your pots. lol I don't think I've ever seen anyone be able to wait long enough to go even 50% amber.

Thank about it. Where are all those stored up nutrients going to go when you push water into those roots?

Alright.. you guys got my vote. I fed it it's last watering with some final phase early this morning.

I brought the plant indoors.. and I have the air conditioning on I'ma harvest her tonight

plant used to be bigger.. but I kept pinching nugs throughout the grow

Make sure you cure the buds if your worried about a bad taste.. seeing as you wanted to flush the plant. Curing in glass jars should completely get rid of any chemical or nasty taste in your bud

If you were worried about the crystals developing drastically, then you would have been watching them on a daily basis. They don't just go from a clear trichrome to a 75%. With knowledge and experience will come quality bud. Look on the bright side, atleast you learned, that next time watching it closely is a smart idea. After reading this post I went out to my garden with my trusty old 30x lens and looked at how mine are doing. I think I will havest within the next two weeks. Mine have the top of head on the stock but they are steal clear as water. I think i am gonna pull mine at 50%. Just because your bud puts you on the couch, doesn't mean it is bad. It is all a personal preference. Hope the plant turns out great, and good luck with next years grow.

I still have 4 big fat mothers in mid-flowering so i'v learned alot from this lil auto harvest. I think it was the leaves trichomes that were turning brown before the actualy buds giving the plant a fairly brownish tint in the sun.
What's up with the flowering leaves curling and browning way faster than the buds. I mean it wasn't like all crazy lol.. but it gave off the appearance that I dropped the ball in terms of flushing on time. I look at my plants twice a day.. and this thing really came out the cuts with browning trichomes.

I harvested my plant yesturday.. I probably could'v waited another day but oh well. I'll just cure it extra good.
