You have the China factory mass manufactured one. All those $30-$50 ones you see on Amazon different brands but similar shape are all the same exact meter just different color. I tried one and had same exact issue with the 9.14 not calibrating. Let the solution sit in water and fully dissolve for a couple days might work for you.
