Lmao...I own 3 businesses with a gross turnover of over £1,000,000 pa with a 65% gp last few year thanks, hence I said that 'I take 12 weeks' not 'I get'...My businesses are all catering related hence my interest in this thread. By the way Its nearly midnight here so unlike most Americans on line now I have done my days work.

The fact that you dont believe me is of no consequence at all, I own my own house drive a nice car and privately educate my son. All paid for by damn hard work. You obviously know nothing about business if you think its so unbelievable, One of my businesses is a Fish and chip shop, that turns over 200k pa alone. A million a year turnover for three catering businesses is hardly unbelievable. But hey who cares your the one w ith a mortgage!

If you are English then you should understand sarcasm and that my sarcastic comment started all this about your lack of grammar, bla, bla, bla, which I only made as you came in here giving it the big 'I am' and go get a job etc etc. Some people in this world are not as fortunate as you or I in many ways, education being one of them. Low paid un-skilled work is an option that many have to take and the ones that do it well are tipped by me and others, moaning about not getting tips is a sign that they are possibly not doing there job as well as they could. Waiting staff in a restaurant I used to lease all got variable tips but the very best ones did very well. I hope that clears it up for you. The moral to the story is there is always someone better off than you somewhere so best not shout about it. I only responded to you in the way you set out.

As far as the whole "Get a real job" comment I've delivered pizzas before, and it was the most fun job I ever had. Of course that's probably why I got fired, but that's not the point. The point is you keep tellin yourself you have a "Real job" while you're runnin in the rat race trying to keep up with the jones'. I'm enjoying my life one minute at a time. when I was 14 I got a weekend job as a silver service waiter in a very conservative hotel/restaurant and one Sunday lunch gave at least 3 customers tartare sauce instead of horseradish on there roast beef! oops, luckily they were all very old women who didnt even notice.

My wife was a waitress at a Hooters when we were first married.... she saw it all. Some of the stories were hilarious!

perfectly stated. the businesses should give the workers minimum wage, because that is what they deserve. for delivery drivers they should also cover fuel costs. if you dont like it then apply for a better job or go to school or both. i tip but fucking hate it every time, i would rather wipe my ass with my money because at least then it is not a total waste.
