Fuck my whole crop is ruined

There's nothing quite like that moment of horror when you open the door and see your plants looking so shitty. Same thing just happened to me... let them go without water too long because i'm so damn paranoid of overwatering. Looks like yours should make a recovery though, good luck!

Ty for proving my point,he thinks i mean that the seeds from a herm plant will produce all herms,but as many people know that sexing the herm with another plant will produce female seeds,this is why they herm plants purposely to mate with females.It's many methods to do this but the new fad is colloidal silver is the only way.

Ty and they are already making a speedy recovery and looking wonderful,well except a few clones that are flowering slow,but i want that to happen cause in 4 weeks their mother will be chopped and the clones can use that space since it's closer to the light.Also it wasn't mold it was just the heat from the light that 1 hour and all the burnt tips fells off and new pistils are forming daily.:bigjoint:

actually a female plant that hermies will in fact create feminized seeds. the hermie trait is in all marijuanna plants just some of them it is more recessive than others.

if you hermied the plants due to stress then chances are the feminized seeds wont hermie if kept at optimal conditions.

Just as i stated above,people will believe anything they read on the Internet instead of first hand learning,TY for pointing that out to the people who didn't read a book of proof.

i agree but when dealing with hermies there is no cut and dry answer, you can get a hermie that hermies naturally and not see a single hermie out of the seeds it produces, its all in how the genetics decide to play out. either way a plant that grows maybe 1-2 nanners may be worth keeping the offspring anything over 10% male/female is jusnk, you dont want to much pollen in your grow that every calyx gets fertilized and produces a seed. usually when i find a nanner in my grow i let it open up if its early enough to produce quality seeds. have grown about 4-5 of these seeds and all females have come from them and none of them went hermie on me.

I guess its all a matter of preference but a hermie plant is indeed a female plant, as well as a male plant. so what he said was not correct. it was vaguely close to something that resembles correctness but far from correct.
 
So the herm is in another room,turns out just the lower half of the plant had 1 ball on a few small branches (barely forming).The top half of the plant has no male
characteristics or appendages nor has the space to grow them as of now.So i cut off all foliage from from the bottom half,and if i had lollipopped as i did my other
plants i would have never seen the single balls forming.Also for people who don't believe that only single branches can herm YOU ARE WRONG,this is not my first herm.
 
Thats good to hear. Like I said earlier, I keep hearing different things about this. I have some seeds from a Herijuana strain that went hermie on me and I never had that happen before. What I dont know is if I caused it when I had a timer misfired during the grow or, was it the genetics of the plant. But what I do know in the meantime is my seed supplier no longer carries the Herijuana strain and I'm sittin on a hundred or so seeds and I'd like to run some next time and I've been trying to figure out what my chances are that these too will hermie. I think all in all, I'm gonna go ahead and run them and see what happens.

You may want to read up on CS,silver does not belong in the human body contrary to the people who made the product,yes it was used in that way but it's harmful and new studies have proved that.They used to think alcohol was a cure-all but is it really?

Yeah try it out it wont hurt.Many companies that actually talks about germination or growing will even disclaimer that all cannabis plants can herm,but in my experience
plants that herm don't necessarily mean the whole plant has hermed.I'll post pics of a herm with only 1 female branch and vice versa.
 
when a plant hermies and self pollenates you will have an extremely high percentage of seeds that will be hermies. breeders will make a plant hermie and use the pollen on other plants to produce fem seeds, not the same plant.
 
Well anyway my crop isn't ruined everything is Gucci and y'all should see my first plant harvested this year in 4 weeks.

go for it, just keep an eye on it. i buy expensive seeds from the seedbank and to be honest a little hermie action would be nice to keep the good genetics rolling in my opinion. I grow for personal use because im tired of paying 25-45$ an eight for herbs that isnt even that great. if i get a chance to get some freebie seeds from a hermie im all about it. i have bought thousands of bags where 1/4 - 1/2 of the weight was in seeds so picking out a few nice beans from a good bag of homegrown FREE herbs dosent bother me in the slightest bit. people can do as they wish i personally would grow out some hermie beans anytime providing it wasnt some kind of monster hermie that produced more nanners than buds. a few pollen sacs on a plant that yeilds 1-4 Oz of bud is not that big of a deal in my opinion, like i said tho opinions are like assholes...everyone has one and no one likes anyone elses but their own

dude why did you wait 12 hours for lights to come back on ? watering the plants for 5 -10 mins wouldnt of caused any problems when your lights were off .
i disturb my girls all the time during lights off and i truly have never had a plant hermie or anything .
 
Here's a few pics of the ladies,the recent heat stress and light bleaching did most of the damage,i forgot to turn the fan back up and yeah this happened,the pics make em look a lil lighter though

My internet is off as of right now because im switching ISPs so prob no more pics for a few days because the internet im borrowing right now kinda sucks on top of having a low signal and my
dd-wrt router is going out.But they seem to be doing a lot better 13 plants in all 10 flowering
