Fuck my ass this sucks

Im building up my first grow room after having limited success with an outdoor grow due to lack of control over the conditions.Wish i would've taken pictues before and after of my babies outside cause they were some kinda gorgeous,there 3, 3 1/2 some feet tall and gettin bushy as hell.
then oneday im headin out on my 4 wheeler rigged with water tank and turn the corner to find that grasshoppers, im talkin the locust swarm kind, had eaten ALL OF THEM. down to the stems. needless to say i was pissed.so fuckit. im movin operations into my home. But ima gonna hafta keepa ita secret. So stealth is my only option due to extenuating<(thats not spelled right) circumstances with the inlaws. ugh.

so.... i need to find out what kind of lighting im gonna need, i mean what the bulbs called, and where to get it. i understand that there needs to be different lighting for veg and flower stages so a list of bulbs from sprout to harvest would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent countless hours tryin to figure this out myself but i give up. Every time i try doi some research i get caught up in other threads that are more intersting than my question. so please help me out!!!

600 watt HID use Metal Hallide for veg, High Pressure sodium for flower. You will need a ballast that can switch between the 2 types.

This should get you enough light for a 3X3 or 4X4 area for all of it. Dont forget to have a mini closet with flourescents, for your clones.

That being said, you can keep one mother under say 4 or 6 CFL's to just cut clones.

Cfl's are low cost and do not have the major heat issues that the bigger lights have . I hate my EX mother in law that cunt

how much will those cost? not just upfront but in electicitybill jump?

its pretty simple the cost of lights depends on how many watts they use. Youre electric bill is decided by the kilowatt hour aka 1000 watts per hour.

Figure hout how much electricity you will be using total and go off the kilowatt hour price to figure it out.

Example

1 kilowatt hour costs 10 cents

you use a total of 1400 watts when all the lights are on for 12 hours so thats 14 cents times 12 coming up to 1.68 a day. Then because say 1000 of those watts gets turned off after the 12 hours, you have 400 still running for another 5 hours making it 20 more cents a day

total cost of 1400 watt (1000 at 12 hours and 400 at 17 hours) is 1.88 a day.

grand total for a month (32 days) is 60.16

alright, so im the exact opposite of the weed spectrum. I did an indoor grow that had a 3 ft tall sativa plant gettin "bushy as hell" only to come home and find SPIDERMITES!!! anyway, im now movin outdoors and i wanna pick your brain over a bowl what did u grow, what was the average temp,(I live in a mainly subtropical climate so winter or summer, it doesnt get that cold here, but the winter season is approaching) and what TYPE of grasshopper? I have a type round my parts thats big and scary, but i dont think they eat cannabis plants... the most defining characteristic is that they are abt 3-5 inches long (yup i said inches, im in America, FUCK THE POLICE AND THE DEA!) and they have a yellow or red stripe along their back depending on the gender of the grasshopper. I looked into them but i didnt see any evidence that they ate our sacred plant. Do you have any idea, or what did you see? Man, im completely sober... kinda sucks... I apparently get angry as hell without my meds...
