1 of my timers was still on 18 6 FFS ... it was hidden at the back of the tent and I forgot about it ...jesus..am bricking it shes already a tree... am so nervous...I still have the dreaded stretch to face ... gonna have to lose 50%of the branches ..or harvest the top ..and then flower out the lower section ..if that would work ??? -STELTHY :leaf:

Seriously though, damn that's rough. Not sure the best course of action here.. The good news is the cutting you need to do won't affect her much since you're not in flower yet.
At the least you have to thin her out. If you can't spare the height then yeah, hack the top off too and flower the lower half.
Maybe someone else has a better idea? supercrop all those branches through the stretch?

I agree on the bigger tent...but sadly its not an option at this time.. and holy shit i have my work cut out for me defoilating AGAIN !!! Gonna start trimming her up again tommoz eve...s'gonna be so much leaf trim its mental... Not sure if adding more or less Canna Boost would be the optimum decision here... Gonna pinch all the branches... and add full dose of Fruit Machine AGAIN........... sigh.... - STELTHY :leaf:

Well today i managed to strip her down about 3/4 way through will finish trimming tommoz.. Its weird.. Now that shes more transparent..she looks even BIGGER.. ive kept most of the top fan leaves only removed major light blockers..

Its annoying shes stretched so much before even actually getting to the fowering stretch phase !! Before i fucked up the timer the node spacing was so close ffs.. Now thers up to a 4 inch gap on some stems. Still, .. My fault. any how still in the very early phase of 12 12 ... So when she actually pops her pre flowers.. Shell have vegged closer to 7 months.

I made a judgement call and decided to remove 50 pcent of the stems removing the small and feeble and leaving the 2footers LOL.. theres still over 100 tops.. It all hangs on the growth in height as i can go a max of 6 ins higher with the lighting... That said once ive fininished defoliating i may try LSTing the branches some what to try and gain a greater light to canopy gap..

Ill add fresh pics tommoz once ive finished preparing her and given the tent a bit of overdue spring cleaning..- STELTHY :leaf:

I had an idea... Too late now of course,.. But I may try out my theory on a smaller future grow..

What if..... I did another scrog..pourposly let the stems get long....THEN cut all of the top stems in HALF.. and continue vegging and train the top nodes below the cut lines to become new main top stems and in turn.. The lower foliage shouldnt need trimming back as much and ALL stems SHOULD be thicker to support even bigger colas (under optimum conditions in theory......!? - STELTHY :leaf:

I mean, if you don't care about veg time and have enough room I don't see why it wouldn't work.. just might not be very efficient time-wise.

Well I guess what I'm thinking isn't technically super cropping. I like to squeeze the stems a bit every couple inches on the tall ones to slow them down and make the branch thicker. You can feel the inner wall crack and that's about as far as you wanna go.
