FS C99 Flowering Time

I am just trying to get a consensus on the flowering time I am looking towards. Just picked up a 10 pack from the tude because of a poker night I had like 5 years ago where the prize was an oz of C99. I have grown g13's version but a lot of people insist the FS version is better.


How many days guys? Please don't use weeks that isn't nearly as helpful.

49 - 54 days - I've never had any that needed longer. Clones even sooner.

I forget so forgive me but; how many seeds did it take you to find your prize?

I popped 2, both were chopped at day 50 of 12/12. They were 100% done. VERY uniform. They looked like clones from the same mother plant.

I didn't take cuts, so I just popped 4 more that will be cloned this time

C99 should go 8-9 weeks in flower. It's truly an amazing strain. I'd veg it for 4-5 weeks...a bit longer from seed.

How did you judge they were done? Trich color?

I am also wondering myself the harvest window. I have read the majority of ppl on diff forums recommend 48-56 days. People even say it could use more time to fill out and pack on weight, but they insist for the "c99 high" they were chopped at that time.

People also have claimed to flower 70+\- days and said there was still no sign of amber?

You could tell just by the look of them that they were done. I looked at it under a loop and had the majority of the trichomes heads cloudy.

FWIW I would describe the high as more of a sativa leaning hybrid. Very chatty and social buzz, but not heart thumping and racey by any means

Good to hear about the high. I am more of an indica guy. My gf likes more sativa hybrids but doesn't like the racy effect. She should be pleased with my choice for her

You guys will both like this then. The type of bud that you would smoke before going out to the bar or something. All of my patients really dig it.

Amos and you have both got me in the mood for some C99. I saw your pictures right before I pulled the trigger. I backed out 3 times and then went back added all 10 to the cart again and said "Come home to papa!"

Were these grown hydroponically? The two Female C99's I grew from seed were both done at day 50 from flip, for my liking. Very sweet, pineapple taste with more of an orange finished hair look and absolute spear shaped nugs. Very uniform development around the plant (lst'd), though the structure was a little too lanky for my liking. Grown in Promix HP with Roots Organics full nutrient line.

I'd try her again, but what I am really looking forward to is picking up some C99 F5 freebies from Jaws Gear and seeing how he worked the line. Also, and not any time soon, I have access to some C88 F2 beans that I will have to play with. Anybody still have the Princess genetics? We can start recreating our own C99!

I have grown C99 for a few years..outside...I average close to 2lbs a plant...it grows like a monster...wide and tall....I first grew Bros grimms then when no longer around I grew female seed strain..they are so close its not funny...FS c99 grows likw twins ..all look an taste the same...wonderful....you either get a pineapple or grapefruit pheno...but they are the same except for smell and taste..some times....every one loves cindy..its a wide used plant to cross breed with also....

i like the buzz...uplifting at first..then the stoned relaxed sets in...makes good butter..hash...oil..very sticky when trimming....I usally go 55 days..but i also watch tric colors...i like cloudy with just some amber coming on for c99..that way it has a nice crazy high....worth growing every year...I am going to try a few crosses of her this year....blue moonshine and also 9 pound hammer....just a few buds not the whole plant...

Oh and she can throw some flowers out....she packs it on.....I tried one plant with just fish emulsion all thru flower..she loved it....robust branching..thick stalks...tight nodes...

Mine stretched about 2.5x. Flowered at around 18" and finished around 4 feet

Organic amended soil. Pretty much just water with the occasional tea

One. Then the 2nd and 3rd were as good as the first, and the only variance was a couple days finishing time.

I'm not a pheno hunter, I pop, chop and smoke.

I chopped her at 45 days
Out of about 12 seeds I had one that grew differently than all the rest..
11 of them grew tall about 4.5 -5 ft. Id say 100 percent sativa in growth structure but one plant was a monster yielder.. It was single cola dominant and it was the largest bud I've gown to date.. But it stayed short.. Both phenos were grapefruit tasting I think.. However the taste was bland for me I liked the strain even tho I'm not a sativa guy
