Frost help me please:)

So i live in the northeast and that means that the first frost of the year is coming soon and i was wondering what that ment for my outdoor plant? should i bring it inside? If it frosts will my plant die? if the plant is about a month from being finished what would happen if it died? would it affect the bud? any help would be great thank you.

well if you would help me instead of telling me not to i wouldnt have to...
Howdy, I live in the Midwest, where we already had a killer frost last week. FROST is your ENEMY:twisted: It will kill your plant and totally retard your budding. If left outside it will reduce the potentcy of your bud as well. Don't jeopardize your inside grow by bringing in an outdoor plant with its army of varmints. Only if you can keep your indoor plants separate, would I attempt bringing it in. You'll need some powerful lights to keep it budding another month 12/12 with at least a 400 watt HPS. Good luck!:peace:

Hey 'Budsforall17', dont worry what they say, they have small cocks thats why they get shitty easily.
Now, in terms of the frost question get yourself an indoor lighting system mate, HPS wont let ya down at all! Top quality for a great price, plus the power consumption isnt that bad really. A little bit of frost wont kill them, plants build a strong immune system towards pests and cold temp. Actually depending on the strain your growing the cold could be a good thing ie. the purple strains will go full purple, the black strains will blacken, so its not all that bad. But to speed there growth and immune i'd put them indoor most the time and on a nice sunny cool day chuck em outside. Hope i helped some. Cheers!

madnugs thanks i have been looking for info like yours!!!! so you say it was 22 with a 14 wind chill and yours made it through it alright?

Im talking *F not *C if so that just more of a bonus and i did say just leave it outside and let it do its thing..:leaf: :D
Howdy, Leaving your weed outside to face the frost, especially a heavy frost, is not a good idea. The buds may swell a bit more and the colors may get enhanced, BUT the potentcy will suffer greatly. Not only will the trichromes break off, fall, and blow away during a frost, but a good portion of the plants moisture will be sucked back inside deep into the root system in a last ditch effort to stay alive.
I live in Michigan, and have dealt with the impending frost on a regular basis while growing outdoors. I have plenty of personal outdoor growing experience going back to the mid 70's.:weed: I know people have their own tried and true opinions, but I had some serious weight, killer looking buds, that were weakened immensely by a heavy frost. The buzz was lacking, the taste was off, and the frost darkened the weed enough to make it eventually turn brownish-green. Its your weed, but if it were mine, I'd avoid the FROST at all cost!
