Lately there hasnt been enough sunlight where i live so today i went a bought 4, 23 watt 1600 lumen output cfls from walmart. Im in flowering so i bought 2700k temp light bulbs. Now my question is will this be enough light? I think it adds up to 6400 lumens. Plus can i use a white icechest to set my plant in, or should i use something else?

how many plants are you attempting to grow? 4 of those lights are good supplement lighting...for veg stage, you need a daylight 6500k cfl...those 2700's you got are ideal temps for flowering...

go to www.htgsupply.com and check out some wicked cheap deals on HID setups for a tight budget...good way to hit the ground running for growing indoors...build your way up in stages

hope this helps!

So this should work with no problems then? sorry for the questions 3 months is a long time to have it all go to hell.

yeh,it should work,as long as you keep the lights close to the plants so they dont begin to stetch out.that's the biggest problem I've seen,is the light being too far away.Other than that, you should do fine, heed jonboys advice and get some 6500 to help them keep growing, other than that, your good.

yes you can,it is actually recommended that both are used in both stages, but economics usually force one or the other for most growers.

ok i have a bit of a problem i was setting up the ice chest and one of the lights fell on the plant. is this bad. the stem was twisted not bad, i used a sandwhich tied to pull it back it its previous spot. itll grow back together right?

grow back together?I thought it was only twisted. If you broke the stem, you may have some problems.
No its only twisted it didnt come completely off. the outer part of the stem is torn a bit but its no where near breaking off. its just badly twisted
how long will the plant be stressed out?

ok.cool, that would only simulate early supercropping type of training,as long as the plant doesnt show alot of stress via discoloration or wilting you'll be ok,the only thing to look for later is signs of hermaphroditism from the plant, but you gotta really f with it for that usually.just watch and love it for about a week,it should bounce back.

Today i started my flowering nutrients Bio canna flora and i will be using pk13/14 in a week or two. Shes been doing her last bit of stretching and has grown alot in just the last 3 days or so, its been crazy. Anyways here she is , lemme know what yall think. O and also the middle cola's leaves are kinda shriveling but its only this specific cola, i moved my oscilating fan a bit closer thinking this was a heat problem. whats yall think?

Need all the advice and criticism i can take.

Happy Growing
