Fritted Disc Question

I'm looking into purchasing an oil rig sometime soon as I've found that I've been buying more and more shatter / bho recently than actual nugg. Whatever rig I buy is going to be only an oil rig.

I keep encountering pipes with fritted discs in combination with honecombs or just fritted disc. These have thousands of holes in comparison to hundreds of holes in a honecomb.

Was wondering what other peoples experience with fritted discs are in oil rigs. I feel like the really small holes might pose some clogging issues in a rig only used for oil. Any experience you can share good or bad I appreciate.

Wondering the same thing myself, I'm also in the market for my first oil rig, have my eye on this Titanium Nail piece by Sheldon Black, Stemless 8 pinhole Diffuser don't want to go messing with a fritted disc when I share your oil buildup clogging concerns.

Interesting pipe. I would prefer one that was less pieces just for any foreseen clumbsyness. At first was like WTF is that rubber band doing on that pipe. Then saw the glass on glass connector. Looks like the piece is dome, main chamber, male to male for main chamber to dome, nail, and mouth piece. Too many individual parts to break, chip, get lost, etc. Lose that rubber band for the mouth piece then I foresee some problems when you hand it to an unsuspecting friend lol.

I like those and agree, simple is better.

If it's only for oil it should clean up fine, you start smoking flowers out Of it, and you're going to be working overtime trying To clean it.

I wouldn't smoke out that piece for sure. Just oil vaping.
