Frist time grow, Trainwreck and bag seed, please help

looking great - love the blown up pics...how long are you thinking you are going to be flowering those plants...I am on my first grow and just a few days behind you.

thanks smokey. my trainwreck is getting chopped when she's done. 10 weeks is the plan but could be sooner or later. some say 13 or more for trainwreck.

just one picture. been watching my big girl the last few days and been thinking how good she looks.

first picture is 1/29/10. second picture is the same bud on 1/22/10.

cant type to well tonight so i'll keep it short. i see purple on the tops of 3 colas, plain as day.

my TR is just too big. had to move my other 400 into the flowering room along with all my clones. think my TR is much more happy now and so am I.

next thing i buy is a 600w and an inline fan or something giving me 1000w flowering room and 400w veg room.

Lookin good! Got some lights under there, eh? I like the effect - kind of an "otherworldly" glow to 'em! It's hard not to want more light all the time, isn't it?

ya i know what you mean. i've had a 50w hps on the side of my plant but now its new home is on the ground. hoping it helps the under side of my 50 inch trainwreck.

btw remember how you said one could be a mobey dick? just got home from my friends who i got the seed from. he has trainwreck and trinity right now. the big girl on the right, or the brown looking blown up, is a trinity. sure you know how it go's.

it will be nice to have a better grasp on exactly what i'm growing next time.

Yep, I hear ya. I think the extra light on the TW is a good idea - my buds were big, but sooooo damn airy - I don't think I gave them near the light they wanted.

Trinity, huh? Haven't heard of that strain - you'll have to give up a smoke report on it when it's done!

he gave me a bag of seed and said wasn't sure what was what. but after seeing his clones mature it was clear 1 is a trinity.

does my frosty one look like your TR did?

Oooh! Purple Widow - that one sounds intrigueing, as well. No, your bud doesn't look like mine did - but then, there are two distinct phenotypes for TW, and mine did a lot of foxtailing. Never really frosted up like yours either, and it isn't the environment - current plants are crusty. So maybe diff. pheno - mine may have been more Sativa dominant, requiring more light and longer flower. Smoke was still killer, though.

hey doe i remember seeing some pictures of trichomes in your thread. how did you do that? took 2 small clippings of different plants and the trichomes are about 1/2 clear and 1/2 milky. my little ball of gumby hash looks so dam good under the microscope.

I put my camera right up to the lens of the scope, takes a pretty steady hand to get 'em.

just got back from my friends house who gave me the seed. he started from clone from the dude he got the seed from and i took the seed. my friend was told the seed was trainwreck and down the chain i was told it was trainwreck. but after seeing his two strains growing, it is clear that none of mine (i think?) are trainwreck. it hurts to say that but hell, still looks dank.

next time i might go all out with the true TR and who knows what cross strain i'm growing. all i know for sure is my friend now knows for sure what clones are trainwreck and i cant wait to get my hands on them next month.
