Ok here is the deal. A friend and I are in a grow operation together. Very small. Here is how it went down:
My partner bought a seed pack from some seed bank overseas. Got a dozen seeds (2 seeds of 6 different strains) for around $75 US dollars. He took a White Widow feminized seed from the pack and sprouted it and grew it to a 3 week old seedling.
After its first 3 weeks of age, I took the plant (on October 20th) and started to flower it. Kind of a quasi-12/12 from seed thing. They plant is doing fantastic. LST, Triple Phosphate nutes, under 200 watts of CFL (80% red 20% blue spectrums). Super dense nugs, super hairy and crystals/trichomes abound.
The plant will continue to flower until it gets chopped and dried here at my place, which I'm guessing will be just after Christmas.
My question is, what is a fair way to divide up the harvest? Although irrelevant, the plant will probably yield 1/2 - 3/4 of an ounce.
Is 50 / 50 split fair? I think I deserve more because I assumed the risk for the majority of the plants life. He just gave me one seed from his $75 12-pack. Thats what...a $5 seed? And three weeks of his time?
Compared to my electric bill (although marginal...probably dosen't matter), and the risk.
I need some help because I have to talk to him about it. What do you guys think?
