Freshman to these parts

Being a noob to the grow scene and specifically LEDs, Im so overwhelmed by the options. Im definitely going to use an LED panel or 2 for my 4x4x8 closet scrog.

Im curious if people are still using the Apollo LEDs. I got quoted $580 for two custom Apollo 8s shipped to Canada. I can't find any prices that come anywhere near this as Im looking to keep expenses down initially.

the custom spectrum I was looking for is:
7 660nm
4 630nm
1 610nm
2 460nm
1 2700k

I do have a 200W 6400k CFL as well for vegging.

So what Im asking is, is this company (Cidly) still being used by the fine peeps around these parts? is this a decent flowering spectrum? are there better options for purchasing LEDs coming into Canada?

hope this isn't flame worthy as Ive been doing a ton of reading over the last couple weeks and feel that I do have a decent grasp on the info, but would like a guiding hand before jumping into the pricey LED market.

this will be a hydroponic scrog 4x4.

thanx

Apollo's are still relevant.

I'd drop the 610nm and add another 2700k. Also, if you can, drop one of the 460nm's and add a 440nm. All of this is just imho of course.

4x4 is kinda big for two panels, though, if you ask me. You can always add supplemental lighting as funds permit, however. It's also a good idea to not go crazy for your first grow. There's a lot of buyer's remorse for first time growers, ime.

thanx Bumpy. :)

the area on my SCROG screen turns out to be 3x3, so I think x2 Apollo8s should be perfect. plus I intend to have them on some type of make shift light mover to hit the entire canopy. Im making the custom order by the end of this work week and want to be certain of the particular LEDs in the units. so you are saying something along these lines:

x7 660
x4 630
x1 460
x1 440
x2 2700k

along with my 200w 6400k CFL, should work for a full spectrum/cycle light set up?

anyone else's advice is gladly heard here plz n thanx.
