Freshly transplanted 12 day old girls

I just finished transplanting my little ladies grown from seeds out of their little starter cups into 1 gal plastic pots.
As I began the process, I realize the slightly fabric-y pots I had started them in SUCK and everything wants to stick to them. I did as best I could to keep the unfortunately dry soil together while taking her from her home. There was, of course, "popping" sounds, like that of a root or possibly just the soil/compost sticking to the pots. To combat this I sprayed the soil with a water bottle and cut the pot to attempt to separate the soil from the pot. From what I can tell, the root ball, which should be fairly small still with a few longer strands (I'm assuming?), was all still intact. It was mostly soil that did not stick to either the pot or the root ball that fell out. In any event, I buried all the original soil that I could, plant straight up, and topped it all off with new planting soil (Fox Farms), and packed lightly.

Now, I may be an over concerned father, but how much do I need to water (I.e. slight mist on the soil or lightly drench?). Should I be concerned about potentially harming sticky roots? Any advice? I know this is called "weed" for a reason but just want to be thorough. This alone makes me want to start in red solo cups next time.

I never remove the peat pot...I saturate it with water and just tear it apart w/o removing it...I replant the entire slightly shredded PP...as for water...get used to lifting the pot for weight, you'll recognize when it needs h2o

Immediately after and 24 hours after transplant. Definite transplant shock with limited growth and some wilting/curling/yellowing, but still progress. New growth is showing. I have been over cautious thus far to not overwater, and especially as this new soil is super moist. Before and after of plant #1, day 1 of transplant, day 14 total from seed. First time grow. Hopefully coming back to life!

By the look of the 2nd one, I suppose your going for LST mode thus the plant near the edge of the rim? If so, nice job.
Don't overwater them
Don't worry about nutrients for awhile, especially with FoxFarm, which is good, but its plenty hot ( nutrients) for seedlings.
Remember not to fuss with them too much and let 'em be.
And have fun !!!

PS I assume you are new to growing, if not, sorry.

I think it's just the photo orientation, all plants are fairly centered, but thanks for the props lol. I figure ill let these poor girls recover awhile before any kind of training and/or topping. As you guessed, this is my first grow ever. Bought 5 Ace of Spades seeds from a local dispensary and am flying by the seat of my pants. I have just about as many hours reading and researching as I do actually growing so I'm hoping to this at least halfway correct!
