I've stored dried and cured weed in the freezer before.
But I can't see how freezing fresh, undried pot can be good. The forming ice crystals are going to cause some kind of damage I'd think.
Dry Ice hash perhaps.

was thinking of making hash from it ,I have been watching a few things on you tube,Seems more and more are freezing the bud fresh then using it in something like in ice hash extraction,They say it stops you from losing terps ext.Thats from watching a lot of the Mendo farmers ,that are doing it ,on Growing Exposed.You use vacuum sealed bags this stops ice burn .

I don't know very much about this, but I think Fresh Frozen plants are used for "Live Resin."
I think business types charge more for this Live Resin that other concentrates.
Again, I have very little experience with these things. But it seems like they are just making BHO from plants harvested early, not even dried, let alone nicely cured. Like cutting production time and costs, then saying the final product is better. I'm kinda skeptical.
I'd love to hear from someone out west who actually has an informed opinion.

You are correct, not sure what the other posters are saying, but freshly harvested and frozen product is how you make “live” concentrates, with the broader terpene spectrum. I will say that i prefer to use much colder temps than a normal freezer. I do not know if it is necessary, but I use dry ice in a cooler and try to get it around -30 before extraction.

I sent out some product for processing a while back. Most was made into shatter and oils but I had around a 1.5 lbs of LVTK and SSDD I froze to retain those yummy blueberry/lemon/skunky terps.
The fresh frozen is hands down the best and favored among everything else.

Im not sure that is what i'm asking i just been looking into that it is great taste wise with product from fresh frozen,I'm thinking hash.I know the bud has a un-real smell atm ,still growing final week or so then its going to the freezer then hash .But i want has much has that flavor trapped in there what would you say best thing to make from it

Assuming you will be doing this “at home” and understand the risk your options are...
Bubble Hash or Dry Ice Sift if you want hash
(You can then use the “live” bubble hash to make love “rosin” by using the usual rosin press method. Yields will be lower than most methods but this is currently one of the better products available)
Or you can make bho using butane and then purging the excess to leave only the live “resin”
(You can also use propane or co2, but for at home use, butane will likely be your easiest option.)
Those are your main choices I would say, without access to higher end equipment that you may not have access to or the desire to purchase.
