Have any of you done it? Or smoked any bud thats been freeze dried? Is this even a viable option?

I've done quit a bit of research on it and can't find anything on it so I figured I'd check with RUI since this is the greatest group of growers and smokers on the internet. Thanks for any and all replies.

type in "dry ice drying" into google my friend and all will be reviled. Ive not tried it yet but know people who have. Meant to be ok as it will be completely dry in short space of time and your not using heat or light which degrades THC. The only draw back is that you lose ALOT of weight

I tried many low temps to find the right temp for long term storage of cured bud and I found that temps below 60 degrees will dry out your bud something nasty. Have you gave any thought to those little humidifier packs that you would use for cigars?

I've read elsewhere that some have had success with this. I have also read that by removing all the moisture you will never be able to properly cure, it will always taste green. The real reason I found nobody does this is the cost of the equipment to do it. now then again you could freeze dry little foil pouches of ice cream and sell em for like 8 bucks for 1/2 oz!
