FREEBIES didnt pop! Bummer......

Man.....my two Freebie seeds from The Attitude were a Connie Chung and some kinda Diesel. Did my regular soak for 12 hours, then paper towel....five days later NO pop.

And I REALLY wanted me some of that Connie Chung.

Anybody else have probs with Freebies not popping?

i havent but ive never ordered seeds. lol. BUT i have heard from alot of posts on here the attitude seems to only give unpoppable beans in their freebies. sorry mate. guess nothings free afterall

Every seed I have ever bought from Attitude has germinated. Usually really quickly... you never know though i guess

facinating. like i said, my statement was based on hearsay.

im at present waiting on 6 lr#2s planted 10 beans,has been 1 week today--4 are growing good --6 pots still no sign of growing--have placed under lights but hasnt helped so far.i hope to have a male and few females to get my own seed=no worries about ordering however mine were not free

I also have gotten seeds from the attitude and everyone has popped for me..This is my method of germinating seeds.
1)Soak seeds in shot glass in clean bottle water.
2)Get some Toilet paper works way better than paper towel.
3)Roll a good 20 or so sheets of toilet paper than get another layer and lay it on top of the bottom layer..
4)Wet the 2 pieces of toilet paper not soaking just wet, you don't want to much water on them
5)Put seeds between both sheets of TP and place 1 plate of bottom and another on top.
6)Store in dark warm area like in a cabinet or closet and in 2-4 days you'll have taproots.

Have u tried scuffing ur seds a little? I have a match box that i glued a piece of sand paper to the bottom. I take my seeds and put them in there, close the box and shake it lightly for a minute or so, then soak in water for a few hours and use the paper towel method to germ.

I have had seeds that didnt pop and after i did this they popped just fine. Give it a shot.

They probab;y give away the older stock as freebies most of the time. Meaning the seeds your getting are already old, possibly really old.

No such thing as a free lunch charles.

I ordered for the first time from Attitude last month. I got 5 free seeds. I started 2 of them. Both freebies germinated (ice and blue mistic).
