Free seeds question ???

Ok. On most orders over fifty $ you get this many free seeds and on orders over 100$ you get this many free seeds ? If you have an order lets say 340$ would it be wrong to put 3 different orders in for 3x the freebies ? Or should they just make better freebies the more you spend ? Smoke one and think about it ? Please do not post any rude comments . Just opinions please .!

I don't think it is wrong, there is nothing 'dodgy' going on. If x seedbank is offering options, I don't see them having a problem. 1 big sale or 3 smaller ones the same amount of cash ends up in their pockets be it 1 customer or multiples again.

You just have to think about it. Are the free beans that good that they are worth paying for shipping 3x?

If the answer is yes, then i would say split it up and take advantage of the freebies!

Shipping will cost you a lot more than the free seeds as most places I have ordered from have a fixed price shipping cost per order.

any seed-bank giving away freebies are actually getting rid of old stock. and not necessarily good old stock. for instance, those $26 nirvana things....

i and many others have done this when there was a good promo going on.. like maybe the xmas promo or the 4/20 promo for ex.. nothing wrong with it so long as you think the freebies are worth the shipping costs obviously..
also, more orders means more risk of one of them not getting by customs obviously, which is bad, but on the other hand, more, smaller orders and only one getting snagged by customs obviously hurts much less then say a much larger order not making it to you, so pretty much six of one, half dozen of the other..

I've gotten Kosher Tangie the last two Attitude orders. How is that strain old enough to have 'old stock'? CC Green Crack is also a relatively new strain [ Xmas promo ]. Dinachem...... I disagree w/ your generalization.

I agree with you, the beans I got from the tude all popped and are growing amazingly well. They are all newer strains so old stock is definitely not what they are. I also want to point out that Sannie sends out freebies that are made by the people that buy his seeds... it is like the community giving back. His statement is completely moot imo.

hey, that's cool. a newly released strain doesn't necessarily mean fresh beans, lol. do you really think these vendors are gonna give away something that they could make money on? there's a reason it's free, and it's not because the vendors are wanting to do something good for it's customer base. i know that sounds really negative, but it just kinda makes sense, and dollars... throw them some freebies, and they'll keep coming back.

You could not be more wrong, I think. If I ran a ham sandwich shop, and had an employee on the sidewalk out front passing out free samples, what kind of business would I get by passing out last weeks leftovers?

Insert business of your choice, but let's talk beans. Why - in your opinion, would mass sales follow the distribution of a bunch of crap freebies? I run TGA because of 4 freebies received from the Attitude. I've purchased TH and Female Se-eds because of the great freebies [samples] I received.

Back to the ham sandwich shop: if my competitor next door was smart, he'd be giving fresh samples to the same people that had just barfed on my oldies. Uhhhh......can you guess why? :?:

Depends on the seed bank youre using. I watch the promos on the Sensible seeds website and purchase accordingly. They have the most freebies Ive ever seen for highlighted genetics. If you have the cash to put towards beans and need some freebie beans in the process, check them out. Send them a message and check the site to see what they can do for you at any given time. I havent been disappointed yet. I have gotten some killer genetics in the free promos every time I order.

That probably has a whole lot to do with it. Free stuff is always a nice perk because well it's free. It also works out for the breeders a lot of times because if someone likes whatever it was then hey they know where to order it. Last year around this time Herbies had a lot of RQ seeds as freebies. Personally all of mine popped and I had 8 feminized plants from them. Their skunk#1 had a rich and very stout taste and smell. Everyone who tried it loved it. My uncle especially and he ended up ordering a load of them to go on a pheno hunt for a mom in his perpetual.
I'll run it again and smoke it again eventually myself. Which will mean buying them.
