My limewire doesn't work anymore. What can I use to download music.

Frostwire.

Or, do like me, and just grab all the free shit the artist sites actually offer. When you get busted for "illegal downloading" you go "Umm, I downloaded this LEGALLY and free off of your website. Fuck you and enjoy your harassment lawsuit."

Try frostwire like kalikitsune said it works a lot better than limewire for me

Frostwire IS Limewire.

Limewire was stupid - they made their program open-source. It wasn't long before someone took the source and put in all the pro paid-for features and for free.

Try www.soundclick.com for unsigned artists,many of whom are excellent and for the most part free

I don't think anything happened to limewire. Mine works great, just downloaded about 10 songs.

To a degree.

My Frostwire's a little bit different from others since the code is open-source. I have it managing all downloads, even HTTP downloads get piped through it as a download manager.

Limewire never DARED offer such functionality.

use torrents. you can download whole albums at a time. usually fast too. utorrent.com for a client, thepiratebay.org or mininova.org for torrents (there are plenty more but you'll find everything you need with those 2 sites)

If you want to feel like you're paying for it, get a premium rapidshare account, then go onto www.warez-bb.com. That place is a collection of links to downloads. They're all I use, and they're dozens of times faster than torrents.
