Hi again,
Newbie here and damn I'm probably going to learn some tough lessons pretty quickly:
I was given fairly rudimentary 'Freakshow' cuttings nearly 3 weeks ago and they are looking like a dogs breakfast. Used some clonex on the cut petiole, and was told to just put them straight into containers (as I didn't have any cloning bricks or whatever they're called) and use humidity domes. Wasn't really told how to use this set up and didn't do much research into best practices, but wondering if I can still save these puppies? They're both in organic coco coir with a little biofeed and white shark mycorrhizal where the petiole was put in. I made sure the substrate was moist when I transplanted, and didn't water or take the humidity domes off for over a week. Then I began to take the domes off once a day for a spray, but I've been pretty sparing with the foliage spray - choosing instead to spray the domes and cover them back up.
Growing in a 4ft x 4ft tent under 315w CMH.
As mentioned, it's coming up to 3 weeks and I still have the humidity domes on... not sure what to do. Best techniques for watering/humidity domes from here on out? Should I spray the foliage or substrate? Am I correct in thinking that continued spraying of the foliage will not force the petiole to grow roots? Should I leave the humidity domes off now?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
