It's not such a freak occurrence. It happens somewhat often. But each time it happens to someone here they start a thread about it like it is some totally freak thing that might never have happened to anyone else.

Why can't you clone it?

Just having three cotyledons alone does not make something clone-worthy. It's not a sign of the plant being from the planet Krypton or anything.

And unless it is a different Lowryder #2 than I am aware of it's an auto-flowering strain so a clone could not be kept as a mother and if you wait long enough for the plant to reach a size/age where cloning would be both feasible and worthwhile so you could get a decent size clone then the clone will be the same age as the rest of the plant it was taken from and just as close to flowering, so what would he get other than a second small plant that would not produce as well as the first and the one he took it from would not produce as well as it otherwise would had a clone not been taken from it. If an auto, as I believe it is, he couldn't just veg it a good while and make up for what was removed or grow the clone to a respectable size before flowering it.

So unless it is a Lowryder #2 that I am unaware of that is not an auto, what would be the real benefit of cloning it?

Thank you for that bit of vital infomation. It takes keen insight to spot the obvious and spelling it out for others who may not see the obvious makes one invaluable to society and rollitup in particular.
You deserve some rep

he obviously isnt going to clone a seedling... wow

I agree. I have seen a dozen or so just like it.
