think thats obsoleets company....not 100 tho
I also believe this to be true. I follow Obsoul33t on Intstagram and he (she?) is always posting beautiful bud shots of Orange Cookies and a bunch of Alien Tech crosses, but I don't know that I've seen beans. There is always mention of a club in the posts, TLC Los Angeles. Maybe they have cuts on top of the flower.

Yeah I saw aficionado charges about that and kinda think if they are still around in a year or two mayne I will grab a pack then but if they are chargin that much for a pack and its not worth it they should be outta business by the time I get back to them lol. Got plenty of seeds to run till then.
Eta: I kinda feel like that price tag puts a small ampunt of pressure on the grower. Like if you arent over the moon with the results you got it was your fault because ya know 300 dollar seeds right couldnt be the genetics...

i cant fuck with 300 dollar packs. im just too poor honestly. if i had more money id try those aficionado packs. when i start hustling beans i can buy shit like that to play with...
$300 dollar packs are bull shit, mostly anyway, imo. In 2003-4 my buddies bought sensi seeds jack herer for $320 or $360 and th seeds critical hog for $280, and my nirvana's top44 beat both of his keeper phenos, better taste better high and fast as fuck harvest time. He ended up tossing them for his aunt's random seeds that she breed by just open pollinating plants out in Northern Cali.

I feel that genetics should be labeled and freely shared, just like a big seed swap convention. You pay your entry fee and then walk around and collect free seeds. Yeah it would suck for people getting rich off of "suckers" but it would be amazing for the entire world to share genetics so that one could get as close to what they really want as possible.

Imagine you want a 6 week indica but also want some pineapple flavor in there so you grab the super fast flowering plant and grab a pineapple and cross them. Then the next year you bring a batch of your seeds but you wanna add some OG to it so you grab the True OG and the Ghost OG to play with.

I just think that freely sharing would help find new clone onlys that could never have been found.

I like that idea, but I'm sure commercial breeders wouldn't. The peasants must never have access to the goodies. Cheers.

Anyone can get any cut they desire.
But you have to pay to play.
Why would someone give you their coveted, rare, elite without something equally good?
Network, make friends, grow good pot, find something you consider phenomenal, now you have something to barter with.
Buy some of franchise genetics tk killer. Find a real tk killer. I'm sure if you did you would have a couple people throwing coveted clone only strains at you.
It takes work and dedication to find real keepers, it's like hitting the lottery but can be done. And once you get your hands on elites, others are right around the corner.

True, for sure and I do that very thing, but we're just talking beans. Kind of like how legal plants seeds are traded. People pay an admission fee and breeder's bring their gear, everyone gets paid and gets new seeds/to meet their favorite farmers but it is more like a farmer's market than a cannabis cup. It is fun to go and network with farmers and other hobbyist and if you could have an event where everyone comes and has a blast trading or buying beans, that would be nice.

Yeah I mean when we take the greed out of the equation everyone has an amazing time. There are a lot of farmers that would rather share than keep something to themselves. Sharing is caring, seeds are a lot safer than clones to pass around too so I would much rather prefer a bean swap then a clone swap.

Not everyone has the same intentions, while many who are trying to make seed companies or just produce a superior quality product compared to others or what not there are also people who are treasure hunters like myself who find much pleasure in the hunt but an inability to spread around as much as I would like.

I found a strain for a grower who has been growing the same 3 strains with his main one at 20 years.... he was blown away by a headband pheno I hunted and begged me for a cut, I stopped him in the middle of begging and went home to grab a few for him.

I would love to find a cannabis plant that suits each persons desires and/or needs. I intend to get my hands on a CBD cut and then spread that around. While capital is indeed needed it isn't hard to give people the same prices that are charged to collectives. 5-7$ a cutting should pay for its costs and once I pass it to 5 people they can then pass it to however many they want and so on and so forth.

Great cannabis deserves to be spread, while others deserve to just be smoked or put into the hash pile.

I used to be on the elite cut hoarder train but I kept meeting more passionate growers like myself and saw the folly in my ways. Not everyone has the skill , eye, time , money etc. To discover on their own great phenos thru multiple hunts or just ones that hit them in the areas they need or want in efficacy. I was saved from narcotic an otger meds for work injuries by finding the strains that not only help daily life but acute reactions are all but a bad memory. So my new mindset is with my breeding to create an find strains to aide all medical needs possible as well as recreational and share freely.
