Foxfarn ocean soil Q??

So im ive started my 2nd grow its bout time to transplant and im thinkin im gonna use FF ocean soil do i need to add any perilite?? or any thing? thnx, Happy smokin all!

well there is no right way for that...everyone has their own preference....i have heard it is good to mix 75% soil with 25% perlite....no matter what lay down a couple inches of straight perlite at the bottom of your buckets this will help the drainage out the bottom....some people do 50/50 soil/perlite.....the perlite basically helps with soil oxygenation and drainage.....

Zlangrt is right it is ready to use right out of the bag. I normally do 4 cups of soil to 1 cup of perlite. To be honest though I experimented this time because I ran out of perlite. I took clones of my mother put one in the soil/perlite mix and one in straight soil. The one in straight soil is doing better. Have to water it less. Im not sure if it is a fluke but will find out. Sorry to go on and on but I'm stoned. Happy smokin man
