as far as how long it will last for, i think i can fill around five or six three gallon pots with a bag before i run out...
I also paid $20 for a gigantic bag of ocean forest - it filled all 4 of my three gallon pots and cost just as much as the standard garden store's soil. I think their soil is a lot better priced than any other soil and its top shelf and its got the nutes you need in it. I did the math and also deicded buying the ocean soil cost less than it would have had I bought the seperate components of their mix seperatly and mixed my own. If you can't afford/decide between buying the foxfarm ocean forest soil or the nutes buy the good soil. That's how I started and it took me a long way and made a big difference.Damn so that is a good deal? How many plants does this last for? Any idea how much a bag of fox farm soil costs?
Grodan mini blocks for clones: http://lovelandhydroponics.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.v2.tpl&product_id=738&category_id=20&keyword=grodan&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=62also its say, to use 4 tbs of BB, I was told 1-2 tbs was good enough, seems to be working for me. I dunno does anyone actually use the 4 whole heaping TBS out there?
also FFOF is no good for clones? damn i was thinking of using it for my clone dome, instead of running out and getting rapid rooter/growplugs w/e?
what about the bloom fertilizers, can you get away with only useing one of em? I got cha-ching i heard its really potent.
thanks everyone,
I don't think BB will necessarily burn your plants or over fertilize, I just think you'll run out quickly, and have to buy another bottle.
Nullis - I don't think my local hydro store carries "light warrior" I'm really trying to avoid going there, not that I don't want to, but its just a far drive.
