Ive been following the schedule...

I feed with both Big Bloom and Tiger bloom whenever the schedule calls for it.

I water/feed every 3 days...and alternate fertilizer and water.

You can/should mix the two different fertilizers when the schedule calls for it...Just dont mix them together directly! Add each into the water separately.
(the Fox Farm instructions say this as well)
I know how to use them. I was posting dannos threads after he gave bad advise and cussed me. And btw I'm watching king of the hill as we speak. Lol

I USE ALL 3 of the Liquids, USE ALL 3 of the Solubles!!! They ALL make a huge difference if you want the biggest and dankest. I kinda think I an gonna switch back to Age Old Grow for Veg though, kinda like how the current strain I grow reacts to it.

ya know, while I'm in this thread, I want to know about that little yellow measuring spoon that comes with the Solubles, I can't find anywhere that tells me what each side measures out to be?

The little end is 1/4 teaspoon. I had to investigate that myself. If u look on the inside it says .25 tsp. You can barely see it. I give em half of that which is an 1/8 tsp. The plants could take more im just a little worried about salt buildup. You know how solubles can be.

Never said you couldn't grow a plant. After all a monkey could. Its a weed. You are giving bad advice with a bad attitude to a fellow grower that is looking for guidance. Last month you didn't even know you could use tiger bloom and big bloom together. Your past threads and posts speak for themselves. Don't give advice to someone on a subject you obviously know very little about. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone my friend. We are all here to grow together.

I ordered a quart each of Kangaroots, Microbe Brew and Sledgehammer and will update in the months ahead. Maybe I'll do a controlled study and use the stuff on 2 of the 4 plants and see what the difference is. I Googled around these products and found very little about them. What I did find is unsubstantiated hearsay that the products were on Fox Farms feeding schedules since 2003 but have just starting selling recently because Fox Farms has been testing them or because FF could not get the organic certification from California until now. Might be true or speculation. I've heard hearsay that someone's friend of a friend has used this stuff and seen rootballs like you've never seen before. Ok. Just one more quarter of an ounce of and these 3 bottles pay for themselves, I figure.

I would love to see your study! I have wondered about these products and would love to see if they make a difference. What other nutes are you planning to use?

AAnd your right about supplies paying for themselves. Getting started usually is when you spend the most money. Lights, fans, pots, etc. If your first grow goes halfway decent, it pays for all the equipment. After that its just soil and nutes. The solubles are expensive but i wont have to buy them again for years to come. Maybe never. You have to look at it as an investment. Plus you don't have to meet someone in a parking lot somewhere to buy your shit that may or may not be worth a shit.

I'll follow that and maybe just put the Kangaroots and the Microbe Brew on 2 out of the 4 and document the difference. In two more weeks they go in the flower tent under a 600 HPS with CO2. Should be a bountiful harvest 8)

"The solubles are expensive but i wont have to buy them again for years to come."

Since this stuff contains living microbes I'm sure it has a shelf life.

AK48s taking off. Haven't been feeding them much so far because they are first month in Happy Frog feasting on worm castings and bat guano in the soil. Been giving them some Botanicare Pure Blend Pro about half strength for a week. I'll switch to the Fox Farms schedule now.

The two on the right look perfect. The one on the lower left has had 1/4 of it's leaves deformed since seedling. Dodgy genetics? The one on the upper left looked fine until today when a few brown spots on the leaves appeared. I tried foliar feeding yesterday, maybe I burned it a bit?

i use cha ching in the last weeks and it seems to work good. Other then that i make my soils very good. Its were i spend most of my money. If you use a high calibor soil you need very little fertilizer. And when i do fertilize i use bat guano and fish emmulsions. I like the natural products and it seems to add to the flavors of the smoke. I am far from professional thou. Ive seen more people do damage with over fertilizing when first learning to grow plants. Less is better in my opinion.

Yea. you have to be gentle with the solubles. I go half strength with them.
