Fox farm trio for autos

For those who use fox farm happy frog and fox farm trio, how do you guys give nutes. So normally I gave only a quarter nutes, that worked last time because I didn't water until runoff. Then I had nute lockout issues and ya. This time I watered until runoff, but kept nutes at a quarter dose. What did I find with that, im now starving them . I also flushed during week 5, thinking that would be a great idea, but turned out probably not such a great idea. I bumped them to 50% nutes and they looking better. Now some people said they work their way up to full nutes, but I don't see how thats safe. Every plants different, but do all you auto growers work your way up to full nutes, or do you just keep it at 50% to mabe 75%. What does your feeding schedule look like. I usually start feeding at 4 weeks. Do you always want to keep ppm close to 600 at flowering?

i was using fox farm and if your following their guidelines you would've given them full dose nutes by week5-6ish. Your plant will thank you for giving it the minimum the manufacturer tells you to feed it. once you get it down you can try different stuff. If you using fox farms I recommend buying some boomerang to help with deficiencys and nute lockout. it is absolutely safe to use the full does on the plants because its formulated for it. Just work your way up and don't feed every time you water.

When I flushed them it seemed to work last time. I had no ph or tds meter then. Are you sure to give full dose to autos. Not photos, autos. I just always here a bunch of people telling me things that seem to contradict what others say.

Nutrition is on a more leaner and quicker schedule with autos. As a rule of thumb i've always started any plant i feed with 25% nutes to make sure they can take it, gradually moving up to full dosage. With autos your feeding window is shorter and thus the switch to pro flower nutrients is key so just make sure your switching to flowering nutrients at the appropriate times. just start on 25% then next feeding move up and let the plant tell you whats going on. just wanna be careful because with autos your feeding for 60-90 days as compared 130+ days so the window is small

follow their feeding schedules for soil except scale it back by a months worth of feedings and that should help

Do you feed every day? I normally tried for only twice a week, but that clearly didn't work this time. Should I go off my tds meter to tell me if they need fed or not? Whats your thought on ph down as well. I got ph down for free when I got the ph drip test. Now I know when you add nutes it should balance out the ph pretty good, I also know my soil is ph buffered as well. My water is about 7.0. I know some people use it, and its probably really important for hydro, but is it important for soil. I also heard that it could build up in your soil and cause a ph in balance.

i feed every other watering using bottled nutes, so around 2-3 based off of how fast you plant drinks and its growth. schedule feedings, i used to only feed on Mondays and Thursdays and watering's between then. Ph down is helpful but its a bitch to use, one drop can make you drop the solution .3 but you have a ph meter so that helps a ton. it can cause imbalance if you using it too much, so its important to only amend and fix if there a ph issue.

Hello,
I have used Fox Farm trios since I started few grows ago, question i have never ask and maybe that has contributed to yields is when to start feeding them

if using bottled nutes then as soon as the cotyledon leaves have withered away then I start to feed at around half the recommended dosage per gallon. I use living soil so it takes a little longer for those little leaves to fall
