Hi,
I need advice if I should spend the money on FoxFarm products for my next grow??
I see that FoxFarm has six different products , Open Sasame, Beastie Bloomz, Cha Ching, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom and Grow Big. Are ALL of these necessary to get the best results or could I use just Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom and Grow Big to get the same results?
Love to save a few dollars but if someone here has seen beneficial results from using all of them then I will spend the extra $$.
Please give me some feedback as to your results!
I am growing in soil with HPS system

Peace

I use all foxfarm products, grow journal in my sig. (except bloom boosters, but I do use molasses). Foxfarm grows some very nice pot.

The 3 that are necessary are grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. Grow big for veg, tiger bloom for flower... start with 1 tsp per gal and work your way up. Big bloom is a soil ammending tea that has wormcastings and guano among other things, so it can be used throughout your grow. The rest are bloom boosters which I've never used, so somebody else will have to weigh in on those.

Not bad stuff..
It your picking your first set of nutes, pick one and stick with it,learn everything you can about it.If you do that then that skill is worth more then gold.

If you're growing in organic soil and want to get the most out of it, don't worry about all of that crap and instead get some liquid organic nutrients. Earth Juice makes an affordable all-natural\organic line (Grow, Bloom, Microblast, Catalyst) and there are others (like Roots Organic, General Organics, etc).

Had great experiences with FF. IMO, to start, just buy The 3 that are necessary are: grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom.

those 3 alone will grow very high quality tasty buds

I love Fox Farms and Happy Frog... I'm an indoor organic soil grower, from that aspect, the FF/Happy frog line is awesome!

I have used FF Original Planting Mix, FF Ocean Forest, and Happy Frog organic soils... I loved them all, but IMO Happy Frog Organic is the best deal for the $$ ($16 for 2.0 cubic feet in my area)

I have used Happy Frog Fruit n' Flower dry fert, Grow Big, and Big Bloom.. I'm actually pickin' up Tiger Bloom tomorrow for my ladies entering week 4 of flower (it will be my first time using tiger bloom)

This is all I plan to use

I know of beastie bloomz, cha ching, etc... But I don't feel it's necessary... Either way IMO, Fox Farms/Happy Frog is worth the $$!

Hey thanks... this bastard has a great idea buyin' in volume and selling a Tablespoon at a time... But I do just want to try it first... Awesome link... I just ordered a tablespoon of each.

Gonna try it on one of my 2 bubba kush plants and see the difference.

i would recommend the liquids also since the solubles are kinda a additive on top of them. just a heads up.

And this is the problem I see too frequently... the Fox Farm liquid nutrients Grow Big and Tiger Bloom aren't organic. Tiger Bloom is just 'organic based'.

Their dry fertilizers and soils are pretty nice, though.

Fish emultion or hydrolysate. (Muskie 5-1-1 10$) <- won't burn
Kelp solution (1 3 6 ish, 10$) <- won't burn
Unsulfured Molasses (6?$) <- can't burn plants, acts as flushing agent/nutrient bio-cycling agent

DONE!

I use their big bloom throughout my flowering as recommended by a friend to supplement my other nuts. He's been using it for years, so I'm assuming it's worth it (can't tell personally yet).

I use the whole line, except for the soil, bushdoctor and sledge hammer. I love ff nutes. I'm gonna get those also. Ive been a strong user of promix soils but I want to try out the ffof. I think I'm going to do a side by side between the two after the rooms clear.

i hear nothing but good stuff about ff nutes :) the soil i heard some bad stuff some good stuff.bongsmilie
here is the story I heard. Two diff manufacturing places, two diff soils w the same name. East/West shipping split by mississippi. The bad one smelled funny and wasnt as good. I have never had any issue with any product by them

here is my reply...
Molasses (sp) will help break down nutes.
Tiger bloom, nearly organic, just gets absorbed by the plants roots faster (from what i have heard via grow store), but is pretty much organic. Its a far stretch from something like snow storm by humboldt county, which is carcinogenic ( I assume, gravity was....)
