Fox Farm Ocean Forrest

FFOF is hot; your plant looks good though. If you haven't started with nutes yet be careful and watch for signs of over fertilization (burnt tips and clawing). It is a nice green color, definitely not deficient.

My seedling mix has more nutrients then ocean forest. It’s all in environment and how people water.

Water and ferts. Most people don't flush enough when they put fluids on in general. Some can get away with it but I can't. I put fluids on until the soil mass is saturated and then I put more fluids through so it pisses good whether it's water or a fert. People like @Lordhooha can grow with 200 PPM water because of their technique and experience. 200 is a good amount of PPM in your source water and lots of people would have tons of problems with it.

I have really careful on how much water I give them due to beginner problems of overwatering. I Never water to runoff. So you think I should water to runoff? Every three days? They sure perk up when I do water them. Watering every other day right now. Hasn’t shown a lot of growth lately. They grew 2” the first time I fed them and have held off now cuz of the burn.

Saturate the media completely, let it dry, then water again. You're not helping the roots expand.

Like @Dank Bongula said; soak well and go away. Yes you should water to runoff every time you put fluids on. Don't use a timetable like 3 days to dictate your fluid schedule. Learn to go by the weight of the pot. Judge the dryness that way and when she's light soak her well. Don't let them wilt, and clones need a bit of dry soil sometimes to get their roots popping, plants grown from seed not so much.
Roots are 2 ways. They don't just take up nutes, they give off wastes too. They need to be washed out of the soil or the plant will poison itself it it's bad enough. Your soil looks dry in the pic. Wait until it's light then wet her down to saturation and put a good amount of fluids through her.
You gonna put liquid ferts on her sometime?

Well thanks for your input. Learning a lot lately about identifying problems.
I saw nutrition burn although the problem started before I added (FF Big Bloom and CalMag That’s why I suspected the soil. I will be feeding again tomorrow with MORE water.
The leaves were dropping for awhile from overwatering and had them looking good again by giving them less water.
I have slowly built up to giving them about a 1/3 of a gallon of water.
But what you say about toxicity makes sense. Need to feed tomorrow and see how much water it takes to get runoff. Soil is 1/3 perlite.
Getting burnt out thinking and reading about pot all day. After looking at a lot of other people’s leaf problems and thinking what???, looks good...ohh I see what you are talking about. Minor, no worries. Rambling now, good night...just wanna grow some shit that will get me way to high

I've got a grow going with one FFOF and one FFHF. The Ocean Forest is defiantly having issues. Two different strains though. pH of the run off is 6.5 or so.

I think it all depends on the strain.
I have 6 plants (4 different strains) in OF and definitely not having issues.
