Ok I will buy the Big Bloom and Tiger bloom this Thursday. Like i said its 2 1/2 weeks into flowering about.
On the feeding schedule website it says to use 2 tsp - gallon of tiger bloom and 1 tbl - gallon of Big Bloom. Is this ok? or should i use less?
When I said that I ment their liquid line and tripack. You can go to their website and look at it. It only lists Big Bloom as Natural and Organic (even on the packagening it claims "100% Organic"). None of the others do. Plus the ingredents in them (which are on the bottle) are completely non-organic materials. And with the Tripack, the number ratios are WAY to high to be organic. 0-50-50? Alaska MorBloom is 0-10-10 (all organic) and you should only use that at 1/4 strength, because it can burn your plants in your living soil.I don't think that's right. Please point me to a link for that information...thanks in advance.
If you used the full line and went by the foxfarm feeding schedule you would know. http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/hydrofeed.pdf Why do want to screw around and mess up your grow? If you want results just follow the manufacturs feed schedule.Anyone have an idea how much i should use?
And be ready to shuck out some cash for all of that too. It kills me when I hear people say that it will take @ $100 - $200 to grow. Ridiculous! With soil, lights, fans, containers, seeds, NUTES, mylar, a/c if needed, filter, bulbs, Co2, soil test kits, pH testers, electrical work and etc........... list goes on and on really ( start up costs really), it can get expensive!I use the full line of FoxFarm with Liquid Karma and SubCulture. I get awesome results. If you use FoxFarm you should use the full line. Check out the feeding schedule http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/hydrofeed.pdf. You start out with big grow, big bloom and open sesame for weeks 1-4 of veg. Then you use the tiger bloom, big bloom and open sesame for weeks 5 and 6 of flower and then switch to big grow, big bloom and beasty blooms for weeks 7. Then switch to big grow, tiger bloom, big bloom and cha ching for weeks 8-12 of flower.

Don't go by looks of the water... go by math. FF is strong stuff.. acidic as hell, too.. Tiger Bloom burned the fuck out of my plants when I used it full strength. And they were big girls at the time too -- 3 weeks into flower, 34-36" and bushy.I did my first watering with the fox farm. Now i watered with 2 quarts so i divided the recommended amount by 2. Is it me or does it just seem to not even be that much, like when i mix it with the water, the water only gets clowdy I just dont see how this is enought nutrients for every other watering. And i realize i will never use the whole bottle of tiger bloom or big bloom
I just fed my plants 2 tbs per gallon. I started flowering yesterday. I've given them full strength nutes from week 2. So far excellent results. Stay tuned to my journal as I'll take photos tomorrow when lights onDude i wouldnt recommend doing that especially if you dont know what you are doing.
But today i bought tiger bloom and big bloom that shot me in the ass for $32.
It says for big bloom use 4table spoons per gallon (2table spoons per 2 quarts) and for tiger bloom use 2-3 tsp per gallon (1-1 1/2 tsp per 2 quarts)
How much should i actually use and do it every watering or every other?
Coward....Don't go by looks of the water... go by math. FF is strong stuff.. acidic as hell, too.. Tiger Bloom burned the fuck out of my plants when I used it full strength. And they were big girls at the time too -- 3 weeks into flower, 34-36" and bushy.
Your plants may or may not need anything at all -- why the concern? If they aren't asking for it (as in growing strong and b'ful).. .don't give it. And anytime before 6 weeks flowering is too soon to use "bloom foods". You need to maintain optimum leaf growth and support the stretch phase -- that means "grow nutes", if any.
I wouldn't give nutes more than once every other week. This site is loaded with ppl giving this, giving that... and a lot of pics of burned-up plants, too. Including mine at one point... they did pull thru, tho.
