im going to be using fox farms ocean forest soil in this grow. im using it straight from seed after i germinate and plant into 5 gallon pots. if i only wanted to use big bloom and tiger bloom in this grow along with molasses during flowering would that be ok.?. i just wanted to keep it simple, also, i was only going to be using half strength of what the fox farm schedule recommended for dosing. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated. people have said that the fox farm schedule is good to try and follow but may be a little overbearing on plants. Any thoughts on good schedules to use.?. like 1 week water straight up and then next week nutes w/ watering.?. i know the FFOF says its not necessary to feed in the first few weeks, any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!!!

i would start with smaller containers firstly to let them grow i nice established rootball before transplanting into something that big. also you don't need to feed seedlings, so i wouldn't worry about that yet. but if you are going to germinate directly in fox farm soil i wouldnt feed the plants until they show that they are ready.

Ya that would be alright. Last year thats all I used for my flowering stage FF-BigBloom & TigerBloom & Molasses. Now this year I added AN-BudCandy & FF_OpenSesame,BeastieBloomz&ChaChing, but before they worked great. I will say that now im giving my plants these extra products, I have noticed them def. being more dense (1.5-2.5 thicker) and filling out down further than before, there also covered in Trics. more now than ever and they smell extremely sweet.

i think im gonna try using the big bloom thru the whole grow and the tiger bloom in the flowering stage along with molasses im thinking after 4 wks, some say they use it the entire grow.?. i been reading up on that open sesame and the other 2 you mentioned and they seem to get good feed back, i may try them on my 2nd or third grow definately. this will be my first grow and im going to grow one plant to start with just to get the hands on approach. i have spent countless hours and hours on here researching and learning and im finally putting it all to good use and still learning in the process.

i would use a bloom booster also i know you wanna keep it simple and foxfarms uses 3 different boosters durring the flower cycle, so id lean more towards botanicare hydroplex or humbolt nutrients ginormous

oh and grow more than 1 plant....

i hear ya on the growing of more than 1 plant. i most definately am gonna do that, i just want to keep it simple with one for now just to get it going. I got plenty of quality seeds, so you know how it goes, its only a matter of time...
