Fox farm grow big question

I have used it before and I have no clue. BUT, you could try going to their website and look at their feed chart, and now here's the fun part, what I would personally do is mix as directed and either:1) pour half of the mix down the drain and refill with fresh water, or 2) mix as directed and add it to another like quantity of fresh water, or 3) mix half as much as they say. I hope you don't find that confusing.

Fox Farm is garbage. Use advanced nutrients you'll have twice better results and twice the yield guaranteed!
Is it really garbage? Why is it garbage? I always heard it was top quality nutes. I have heard that AN is great. Tell me why you like AN. What AN products do you use?

i mean its all chemical anyway so all that matters is the npk ratings on it. Keep it simple man. all you really need is grow and bloom nutes and some molasses

Fox Farm Grow Big works well. The npk ratio is ideal and it does contain some micro-nutes. I will give seedlings a little time to get a foothold and then start them with 1/4 tsp/gal. Then gradually work them up to 2 tsp/gal. I feed every other watering and have never had issues. This is in a soilless mix with all my additives.

I have tried many different nutes. They have all worked within the range of acceptability for me. Fox Farm is not organic, but if that does not bother you, it is a good product and it's reasonably priced.

Ok well when i say "garbage", i do not in any way mean you will get bad flowers or a small yield. What i am saying broadly is, some people wear skinny jeans and there pockets are too tight to consider or invest the extra money in AN. I believe FF nutes produce chemically smelling and tasting flowers and to add not comparable to AN when it comes down to potency and quality. Not saying you wont get your bang for your buck but lets be honest with ourselves and accept the fact that High Times Cannabis Cup holders will never use a full line of FF. This stuff is decent and great for a budget but also put in retrospect that it is sold in many mainstream stores along with local ordinary gardening shops(not hydro stores). Another consideration you have to take is AN is more expensive for proven reasons.

What it really all comes down to is the quality, potency, taste, and yield. You WILL get all of these with FF no doubt for the money you have spent. Its like a Lamborghini to a Bugatti...both fast, luxury, and flashy....But the extra $$$ for the Bugatti will pull out with the win in a stand off race.

Remember we do not live in China, In America, we pay for quality and quantity.

So...if you want to try FF out great, try AN out and you will forget FF ever existed. =D

Advanced nutrients is overpriced salt water and FF is too. You're just another chump who was suckered into buying into the fancy labels and marketing campaigns.. Btw, I wear khaki pants.

At the markup AN charges for their nutrients, you may as well just spend that money on weed from your local drug dealer.

I'm past all that "sweetener" crap and other snake oil..

Now I just bury some gold coins in the ground and out comes a golden tree trunk with 20 dollar bills for leaves! The secret is taking all your money out of the bank and burying it in the ground.

It takes money to make money, literally. Go plant money.

I heard the best way to grow world class cannabis cup grade pot is to grind up a few ounces of high grade marijuana and throw that into the soil. The THC from the ground up plant gets metabolized by the growing plant and becomes double THC!

stocks and nutrients arent the same, in stocks theres blue chip stocks and penny stocks, then in nutrients theres calcium nitrate and calcium nitrate, etc etc etc. The nutrient industry is like the pharmacuetical industry, tweaking little bits here and there too slap a new name and patent on it. Enviromental controls and genetics are more important than which brand of super duper bud boosting bomb blasters and advanced ionic charged particle additives and osmotic pressure differential enhancer you decide too use.

And by "salt water" i think churchhaze is refering too all inorganic salts in general, ya know like the calcium nitrate i mentioned above Ca(NO3)2 thats in your "advanced" nutrients. keep the NaCl water for sore throats and aquariums.

These metaphors and analogies are horrible.

Teenagers buy "nutes" with cartoons on them and rad names like "Krystil Blazter"
