Fox Farm Fertilizing

Okay so I came across a fox farm feeding schedule. Stoked cause I'm a newb. Anyway this may sound like the dumbest question BUT My plants are two weeks old, CFL/T5 grow. They are looking great and all and i want to fert with grow big in a week but i was just wondering. When i make the 2 TSP or 1/2 the dose in a 1 gallon jug of water am i watering the plant too? lemme see if i can ask this right.... When i am ferting do i fert with the mix as if i was watering the plant or do i water and then use fertilize mix also... and how much should i fertilize if I'm just fertilizing... Seems like a whole lot of liquid going down into my pot. Pots are 3 gallons by the way here is a pic of the plant. Maybe i am over thinking but I'm confused if I'm supposed to give the plant less liquid when the fert is added.... Im confusing myself lol..

I usually wait until about 3 weeks. Then i start with a quarter strength of what it calls for(mix with gallon of water ) then water plant. Gradually increase the nutrients and use them every other watering. Some people use them every 3rd watering when plants are young.Also young plants do not need a ton of water. Over water is a major mistake newbies make. You are just wanting to soak the soil decently not dripping wet. As the plant gets older you can use the "add till you get run off method".Also take your time with nutrients,your plants will eventually be able to take full strength nutrients. But like I said I would go about quarter strength for atleast a couple feeding cycles.Just my 2 cents.

Mix the nuits at one third wat the chart says ot first then jump to half doses.gradually go up so it's not to burn the plants. They are still babies. Mix the nuits with the amount it would take to do a normal watering. Don't over water
Just follow the schedule buy what week your in and not buy how many times you've watered. Good luck.

thanks was just wondering what it means when it has those numbers in the columns under big bloom. it says 6 and grow big says 2 or 3. is that how many times that week or how many tsp?

I use foxfarm nutes for all my grows and I usually half dose the gal and feed between 350ml and 500ml each plant for young plants also if u have big bloom use it along with grow big. Each one being half dose in the same gallon of water.when the soil dries give them water they dry again use nutes.a few weeks in just follow the feeding chart and you shud be good.
