If im going to be transplanting my plants out of solo cups into 3 gal pots of FFOF and 30% perlite, when should i start giving 1/4 strength big bloom to them? Should I wait a few weeks after transplant im only going to be veging for about 3 weeks after moving them to the 3 gal then flipping the switch. Im just trying to figure out when to ease into the feeding schedule on the fox farm line.

you should just feed them water for the first 3 waters at a good Ph to set the soil then start the regular feed of the foxfarm schedule what have you been giving them since they were in the cups

ive just been giving them 6.6-6.8 ph water just a few times. seems like i water once every 4 days or so. coming up on 2 weeks old soon so il be repotting probably at around 2 weeks then il probably wait 1 more week then start giving nutes unless i see them start to turn yellow. is it ok if you dont get all the grow big doses in there? i was going to give it 1/2 strength when i got to it but il be flowering after 3 weeks of veg so i may miss a dose i gotta look at the schedule again.

it's OK to miss a dose or week an yes I'm sorry you want to start them at half strength. making 1 1/2 teas of bigbloom but since there already two week you can go full strength an follow schedule

Hey man.

Just a heads up to ya, big bloom isnt a base fertilizer, it's a supplement. Grow big and Tiger bloom are their base ferts. I think bigbloom is just kelp, worm castings, and maybe humic? It doesn't actually offer much nutritional value to the plant.

That being said, FFOF is decently hot and should be able to sustain your plants for a good month or so before you "need" any nutes

Big Bloom is good for building a strong root system 1/4 strength is ok for the second week. Dont use Grow Big or Tiger Bloom yet the girls are a bit young yet.
