British Colombia, not far from Oregon at all. I was thinking they were liberty caps as well but everyone else convinced me otherwise so far, now your tippin the scales. Im interested in getting some more opinions, would also like to find some way to test them without eating them lol there legal in bc so I wonder if I would take them to a lab or something.

I'm no expert, post a pic in the Oregon or Washington forum..those guys will know

they look very smilar to psilocybe cubensis but if i were you i will be scared from wild mushroom. If that mushroom has toxic material inside only one muhsroom could be enough to kill a total family which is very common at rural areas of the world.

also there is no sufficient treatment for mushroom toxication. This is also looks like what you found amanita phalloides

I ate a mushroom in a cow pasture during high school. I did not get off but the lymph glands expanded under my jaw. Fortunately, I did not suffocate--I was just about to ask my parents to take me to the ER. I also escaped liver damage, evidently.

Anyway, the skinny stemmed ones in the pics look like liberty caps to me. I haven't been out picking for a long time. Test a liberty cap (and maybe cyan, I forget) by looking for the viscid pellicle: split the head at the edge and look for a clear film membrane.

The small ones look similar to liberty caps but they are fakes.

fake it till you make it? ... haha nah all good info, that mushroomjohn site seems to have solid methods of identification so I will definately be trying those out before ever thinking about consuming any of them haha.

hahahaha, I was planning on growing my own, you can buy kits all over town here, but when i walked outside and saw all these on my front lawn, for a moment I thought - why buy a kit when they may be potentially growing naturally in my yard.. but i feel you 100%, and im not about to be eating anything im not 100% certain about, fuck I havent done mushrooms in like 13 years and the last time I tripped balls, wasnt fun, so I doubt I would even do them again anyways haha I more so just want to know if they are. Maybe ill go buy a cpl pet mice and feed them little peices first.. haha jokes

imma tell u right now that second pic of the mushies in ur hand are B+ i have some on hand.... ill get u a pic see for urself... pinch the steam see if they turn purple or blue if yes then good finds bro....

the other caps im not sure but the ones in ur hands are good to go ull see after i find my pic bro

ok so these are my B+ now then sry for bad pics but u can tell they are the same....

i grew these myself indoors and later planted my old cakes in me mums garden and well these poped out

bigger than my indoor mushies but lil dirtier i even have a post on a site if they was safe to eat it just all about id the mushies and well since i knew i put them their im ok..
