Well maybe if you dont want your plant jacked dont plant it at the local joint point, fuck if you plant somewhere that people go all the time what do yah think is goin to happen. If it was someone who wanted to grow or even cared about the plant, they wouldnt have it there. no need for all the anger and name calling over some little dying plant at a jp. let it be.

My friend got mugged last week. I told him it was his fault for not carrying a gun and shooting everyone who walked around the corner. I mean, he was walking around with money in his pocket, and I know that all of you would have robbed him.
Also, I have stumbled onto wild cannabis before. It does not generally come in the form of one FEMALE plant in the middle of nowhere. It also does not generally come in the form of an INDICA in the southwest US. This was somebody's baby. And then, one day, some fucking woman comes by and rips it out of the ground because "finders keepers". Anyone who doesn't think that this is a horrible transgression of common morality needs to evaluate his life thoroughly. Just because we (growers and smokers) are unfairly forced to live like outlaws, doesn't mean we have to think like criminals. I earned my plants. They taste a lot better than any stolen ones. And when I smoke them, I get high without hurting anyone.

Very well spoken. There is no logical argument that this was not blatant theft. Saying it was wild or abandoned is like trying to justify stealing somebody's car because it was left open in an empty parking lot.
^ and before any1 attacks me about my post, obviously if that person really cared about it , they would of found a legit spot.. for all we know it could of been some thrown out bag seeds from some1's sack. .... but town vs mountains is a different question and SD is a town

So what if the plant was almost dying? So what if it looked like no one was taking care of it? Someone may very well have been taking care of it. Someone might have been hiking back and forth to that spot for months trying to keep their baby alive and you just took it.
If you left your old crappy car that was almost broken down on the side of the road, would you think its ok if someone came up, took it home, and tried to fix it up for themselves? No. And that is exactly why this is not ok.
